the ugly spoiled brat part of me is disappointed we didnt get something cool as compensation for the downtime, like a new retiring familiar, but i recognize that this isnt fr staff's fault and im not going to be THAT much of a brat about it
just...a slight brat. a quiet brat. a little, as a treat.
frankly i prefer pre-communicated downtime without xyz familiar as compensastion over the mess that was FR back then. Would the site work today? Maybe, maybe not, would the coli crap itself? Who knows. Would the site give you errors when over 500 people are online? You bet your ass.
There is really nothing nostalgic or good about how FR back then was, it was a fucking mess.
