Oh nice, I hadn't checked this out previously and when I saw the Undel post somebody linked above with the Stormchaser icon in it, I thought well dang, that was my favorite one when I looked at the announcement post and now it's not staying? So glad to find out it's the replacement instead! (But if the 'winner' manages to prove whatever it is they're trying to, hopefully Stormchaser doesn't get yanked back out.)
guess that post is now showing the outdated one because the skin got changed and renamed, not a whole new one was made. and I doubt they are going to flip-flop this back into the old one if Funkengine really manages to prove it. changing 5 minutes after the festival started is something else than changing 5 days later.
And now that I did go and look at the submission, Stormchaser is miles better than that weird-ass pac-man thing anyway. Hard to see why it wouldn't have won originally. (I've never been a 'they deliberately snub the best entries so people have to buy blueprints' theorist, but if that really does have merit and all this cornered the staff into accepting it because it was their only option for a replacement male Wildclaw skin or something...good job, FunkEngine!)
