i'm thinking a new breed, either modern or ancient, but that could be wishful thinking on my part. the way they talk about the reward as something "very special" makes me think its gotta be bigger than just a familiar or a scene.

I could be misunderstanding what they're saying, but if they just meant that originally they wouldn't be released because they weren't associated with a specific flight, I would think with bogsneaks being neutral it could work now. Unless they mean that by having a courier in a clan they now have allegiance (to that user's flight) and can be exalted to serve that flight, which goes against their lore? But I mean, lore really doesn't affect the actual gameplay much - you can have twenty imperials in a clan and that's against their lore technically. You could have a coatl/fae clan, and they can barely communicate with each other.
I still hope they reconsider at some point though, because I really like couriers and have always wanted them to be obtainable. They look cute lol. They could maybe even make them an ancient breed or something.
Also! Intrigued by them mentioning they had a fairground game about the couriers planned. I don't think that got released, did it? Wonder if its still in the works.

you could be right? i interpreted it as "these dragons won't be in-game because joining a clan that's aligned with a flight would go against their lore" but your interpretation could also be right. i definitely wouldnt mind having some couriers. their chubby cheeks are really cute.
