you know, its possible that this one complete stranger expressing mild dissatisfaction with this event in the lightest possible terms isnt the exact same person as these ill-defined "people like you" who complain about coli events
Yeah, time once again for me to trot out my old favorite tune - the userbase is not a monolith. Although there will inevitably be some users unhappy with any given thing, this is not evidence for hypocrisy or impossibility-to-please-ness unless an individual does something like agitate for less-busy tert genes and then complain when one is released that it's boring and lazy.
also, to come to terms with reality tbh - we aren't playing neopets in the early 2000s anymore where they ran a plot over the course of months involving a heavy-for-kid-browsergame story with multiple phases including battledome and random on-site tasks. people nowadays don't invest so much time to petsites anymore and as much as I would like those times back, it really makes no sense with current online climates and demographics anymore. this is definitely a nice way for them to test out the waters anyway.
Yeah, I was hoping it would be something that would keep me a bit more occupied like a new breed (wishful thinking lol) but I'd much rather have this than stuff like out of touch dappervolk events. One of my fave things about fr is that it doesn't have to be a timesuck
Late, but tbh I wish we could spend the extra currency for more scenes or stuff like that. Give us some more tangible reward than "yeah maybe my contribution made the bar inch forward by 0.01%?"
maybe this is just wishful thinking but i hope this dig system stays and we get semi-monthly dig events. id love to uncover fossils and other things like that
That would be cool! A trinket shop where you can exchange the excess supplies for stuff that was found during mining, like recolours of jewelry or other small apparel, could've been a cool twist on the regular festival stuff and give people impetus to spend more time on the site. Like I'm invested in fr again after being bored of it for a while but I don't actually have a big reason to do anything beyond dailies during this event. Let me waste time on your site!!
