I've been looking at the IPs and trying to squash them- there's been some that were screened without anyone ever seeing them. Sadly, it's impossible to ban IP addresses, especially since vpns can be used. All we can do is try to screen them and keep them from getting the attention they so desperately crave.

edit: It IS the same person in some cases, but different folks/vpn users in other cases. (Yes, it's easy to tell if you're a dumb ass about it).

Oh nice the staff finally made the ever-popular "eyes and wings" UMA feature into clothes, I love when they take something that's in UMAs all the time and make it available to people like me who're too cheap to buy them

Absolutely adore Passenger’s Arc Construct. Love that it’s not another generic pink/purple galaxy skin and the gold accents set it off beautifully. Nice pick, staff.

Not as much of a fan of Star Garden (colours kinda clash to me), but a Starfall accent where the dominating colour isnt pink or purple? I’ll take it!

Worst and best Joxar recolors

Browsing Joxar today made me want other opinions. For me,

Worst: Fortune Teller's Deck, runner up Bloodshard Chains
Best: Flowering Gladeboughs, Illuminated Runescroll, Sanguine Plumage

Bonus round: Recategorize your worst pick/s. I think the Fortune Teller's Deck would have looked better as maybe a Light or Fire item (I just really hate the green mist tbh) and Bloodshard Chains would've made for a nice Arcane item.

Can everyone who thinks "Your countries minimum wage x the hours you put in + extra" is a good way of giving pricing advice to people on FR shut up?

I can count on two hands the number of artists on FR who could legit do that. And I know a hell of a lot of artists.

Someone in a discord I'm in asked for pricing help for some cute icons, people gave them 10-20 in USD as estimates which seemed reasonable. Then in comes this person with "Well if you found the right crowd you could sell those for 100+!" And I have never wanted to yell so hard. Could they? Potentially. Maybe. On FR? Never. Finding that "right crowd" would be so goddamn difficult and I hope this poor artist doesn't get the wrong idea and try advertising for that amount, because they will be sorely disappointed when they don't make any sales.

It's a shame that pricing art on FR is so annoying. Art just tends to be valued really low, it's frankly a pretty shitty place to try and sell art if you want to get your money's worth. But the answer to that isn't to tell every newbie artist trying to find their footing to charge incredibly high amount. All you're going to do is kill that artist's motivation to try and sell it in the first place.

The only time I have ever seen an icon go for around $100 that wasn't animated was via an auction of a VERY well known and talented furry artist on a popular furry platform. Oh, or have a super fetish-y icon but again, that's niche. So yes, the 'right crowd' indeed.

These 3 accents all have the same concept. 1 and 2 are basically traced off each other. What's going on?

One and two are from the aaa. accent series (group accent event where artists swap roles between lineart, inking, and colour) which is why they’re on the same line art but different users. You can see the entire event selection if you look up ‘aaa’ in the database.

Third one is just a bird, iirc there’ve been a few bird like skins for noodles since the face is very beak-like.
