Re: Genuine Question about Spending RLC
(Anonymous) 2020-09-29 09:24 am (UTC)(link)Re: Genuine Question about Spending RLC
(Anonymous) 2020-09-29 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)But i say do what makes you happy OP. Though if you're worried about overspending, or getting addicted to spending (both of which can happen faster than you'd think, as someone who has done both) then i'd set a budget for yourself and maybe keep it closeby. What i do is write it in all caps because that way i read the note as me yelling at myself to NOT do the thing, or NOT do the thing *too* much, lol. Also i find that using a trick my mom drummed into me really early helps me a lot, which is constantly asking myself "How much do i really want this? Do i want this enough to spend 5kg? 10kg? 20kg?!" If the answer to any of those is no, then i just don't buy it. Of course i do occasionally splurge/impulse buy but ...for the most part these are the things that help me not spend a lot.

(Anonymous) 2020-10-01 04:21 am (UTC)(link)This is amazingly helpful advice, I seriously cannot thank you enough. I worry a lot about getting addicted to spending RLC when I can't afford to be blowing all my money on it.
Thank you!!
