Yes absolutely. I'm in too deep with my current account, I'm attached to everything I have but I joined as a teenager, so the way I approached the game isn't how I'd approach it now. I'd love to have a 2nd account to have more rigorous, well thought out themeing and lore.

It'd be nice to have a showcase lair with a dedicated aesthetic. My main is a mixture of G1s, oldies, sentimental fandragons from interests I'm no longer into, so kind of just a mixture of everything without theming but I can't bring myself to exalt. I used to use Neopets side accounts in a similar manner. (and having an XXY progen... the horrendous colors I picked when the site first opened when I had zero concept of nice colors are thankfully lost to time with lots of scatterscrolls lol)

Nah, I like my decade old account, with all the mismatched mess of dragons and the like. Also I hate bonding with familiars, so I'd cry if I had to bond with a thousand familiars again

I definitely would, because I have two different themes in my lair -- one is yellow and orange range XXYs with white range terts, the other is blue and purple range XYXs with yellow and orange range secondaries where the accent color matches the prim/tert. (So like ultramarine/saffron toxin/ultramarine.) I collect G1s in those color patterns, and am in the middle of a giant horrible breeding project to make Imperial breeding pairs for each variation of Theme Two. Plus a tab of random breeding pairs. I'd love to be able to devote one lair to each theme plus a grab bag "I just thought it was pretty" lair. Theme One would stay in Light for lore reasons, but I'd move Theme Two to Water for the eye color and lore. Grab Bag Lair could be anywhere, though I might make it Ice for the neutral eye color and good looking primal eyes.

Yeah I probably would. But then again I was the weirdo gaiaonline anon who admitted to having like 15+ accounts wayway as a teen for all sorts of different things/character ideas. I don't think I could do *that* again- that was unmanageable, and the way FR is set up I wouldn't need to anyway... But I could probably handle 1 extra. I'd probably do some Aesthetic thing.
I could see maybe trying out a mono-lair or g1s or only dragons of x color(s). My tastes are so eclectic that there's no way I could stick to that now with my current account. Something like those would be a fun challenge I think.
