I don’t like the inclusion of “be specific about why the design isn’t doing anything for you”. People are allowed to say “I don’t like it, it’s not for me” and move on with their lives, and at least to me requiring a justification of why you don’t like something is how you get into a mess in the first place. I’d guess Aequorin is trying to head off the people substituting “elegant” for “skinny” and other such language but it’s phrased poorly.
The thing is, what's the point of just saying "I don't like this" without saying any reason why? 50 posts of “I don’t like it, it’s not for me” doesn't seem like very good discussion.
I've never felt the need to post about the breeds I don't like so maybe I don't understand. I'd rather post about what I want out of future ones instead. Feels like a better use of my time.
I was interpreting it as "Tell us what you don't like so we can improve on it." Not liking something is fine, but saying "I don't know, I just don't like it" isn't going to help any designer or creator improve. They can't make dragons that users will like if users don't specify which parts they dislike.
