SA I'm thinking the "change in lore" excuse is being used as pretense to dodge the fact that they appeared to have breed changed this dragon to a Fathom - likely without the original owner's permission.

SA It also appears that this person is no longer searchable on User Search but still has likes on their dragons. Nonnies, would that be a sign of an account action?

Hmm, I've never seen this before. Maybe a suspension? The not being searchable on User Search means something happened but you're right, the dragons are still likeable. If I had to guess, suspension for harassment that they stupidly exposed to Mousemod lmao

I’ve seen it a few times. I’m pretty sure it just means a temporary ban/suspension - basically for something where staff is like ‘this isn’t bad enough to warrant an account lock, but you need to sit in the corner and think about what you’ve done.’

It’ll likely get reversed in a few days, unless staff finds they did something else that does warrant a full lock.

Yes, an account that still has likes but is unsearchable has been hit with a temporary suspension.

It makes tracking developing drama a real pain in the ass if the forum posts are bad enough to get deleted and you didn't note down the user's ID.

Here's the thing, this is the risk you take with sending out a traveler. It becomes their dragon. They can keep it, breed change it, exalt it, or throw it on the AH.

Just because they have the ability to do anything they want to the dragon, doesn't make them any less of an asshole for doing so. Everyone knows the risks that come with participating in the traveling dragon thread but that doesn't mean we can't say someone is an asshole for doing what Nobody did here.

I will step back on this. I read on flatview, and hadn't seen that part. This stands for normal cases. This guy is a jerk.

AYRT, Yeah in normal cases keeping and changing a traveler would not have gotten this much anger/disgust from people lol I would have probably argued similarly to you if not for seeing the rest of the thread first because that's just the unfortunate risk that traveling dragons have and shit happens

No one is denying that. The issue isn’t that they kept the dragon. The issue is WHY they kept it, which was deliberately to spite the original owner - this isn’t even speculation, that’s straight up what Nobody999 said.

It can be assumed they wanted to spite the owner because they got called out by them for being transphobic. (Nobody999 never intended to keep the dragon just because they like it - and people don’t typically change traveling dragons older lore, much less just the pronouns.)
