i'm in light and not an inner circle dom organizer or anything, but based on what we have been told it sounds like it is purely fire not interested in coordinating?

it still feels strange to me to call it a battle if the only thing stopping that is a coordinated theme, but oh well.

i am just going to enjoy my first ever chance at pushing for a "highly desirable" dom week since swapping flights, and not fuss too much about the rest!

To me it’s the difference of goals. The goal of IvW was for one flight to beat the other. The goal of what’s looking like LvF (unofficial) is to get first place. The distinction is that the flight and the dom team isn’t going to drain itself dry if it looks like the other flight has a huge advantage. Fodder’s going to go up but not a bonkers amount.

keep in mind last time Light fought Fire they barely won with a bonefiend despite being the significantly better organized flight. Why would they want to go through that again?

i think you're possibly underestimating light's love of dom conquest. but you are probably correct they wouldn't want to deal with fire's lack of organization again? ymmv.

I can confirm that Im in light and we’re down for conquest but not a battle atm. Mostly we’ve got no clue what fire’s going to come at us with and we’re not really going to be bothered by it. If we win then we win; if not, we’re not draining the bank dry before the hottest week of the year.

Yeah, Fire has the smallest active population by a significant margin, like less than half the size of Light. Emphasis on "active," since that's what counts during Dom. They don't need to be all that organized to have an advantage against pretty much any flight but Earth.

By active population, Fire is ever so slightly smaller. It's like a 0.39% difference

NAYRT but yep, there are fewer *active* fire users than earth users, but fewer earth users overall
