Something about hungryhobbits launching into a text wall and phalaraluve's response to it gave me the giggles this evening. He apparently replied again and then deleted it, because the forum currently shows him as the most recent respondent but the last post up belongs to Grapiesoo.
phalaraluve is right, they SHOULD implement the ability to un-exalt other people’s dragons because that has the potential to get really entertaining really fast (joking but can you imagine)
This was my thought exactly, glad I'm not the only one who was like uh, rude? Is hell no rude? Genuinely had no problem with their reply myself, they were just emphasizing how they definitely do not want people to be able to unexalt other people's dragon
i expected some REAL shit flinging and fist fights with the way this is described but this is not even a weak sauce pillow fight, even by pvp forum standards.
WHEEZE like, don't get me wrong, I don't agree with the suggestion, but hungryhobbits absolutely deserves that for implying that the unexalting other people's dragons part was somehow manipulatively hidden. buddy PLEASE calm down; you make even reasonable stances look needlessly mean and unhinged.
"extremely uncool to slip that in there as others are gonna be focusing on the first half of the post"
Acting like OP is trying to somehow maliciously manipulate users into not commenting on the subject of restoring other people's dragons, thus giving staff a free pass to sneakily implement that feature... or something idk
I sometimes wonder how hungryhobbits survives being so strung up all the time lol people in the suggestions forum aren't out to get you with their bad suggestions lmaooo
Lmao for real like sometimes a bad suggestion is just a bad suggestion and nothing else.
Idk why some suggestions forum regulars feel the need to fight tooth and nail against objectively bad suggestions that staff is never going to waste time even considering, let alone trying to implement. Staff aren't brainless idiots who need their little community "heroes" to write 5-paragraph textwalls aggressively explaining why an idea sucks.
This exchange got a petty laugh out of me.

Can we exalt Admins? If so, that will be my ultimate move! (and then unexalt them of course)

(Anonymous) 2024-10-22 04:12 am (UTC)(link)I will admit I am someone who hates cursing and I do consider Hell to be something used sparingly.
But that exchange didn't even blip on my radar because itw as used for emphasis on not wanting something that many people are vehemently against...
