SA looking at the last post it feels to me even clearer that preferential treatment wasn't given, because the staff member in that screenshot is talking about how they had multiple staff members review logs over the course of weeks /because/ of how involved brightmyth was in the community.
As an interesting aside, this also makes me doubt the stories of people who supposedly get banned for holding dom bank items/running raffles who are banned without staff response or appeal. I haven't seen screenshots from /them/, but /these/ are verified staff communications. I doubt staff recklessly bans people for holding dragons and funds for dom or raffles, especially dom leads. It's much likelier knowing this that those people were banned for legitimate reasons and lying out of embarrassment.
