you seem committed to misunderstanding me but alright. I'll say it again. I Don't Think It's Good To Have A Price-Controlling Rule On A Player-Run Economy That Gets Players Banned. ESPECIALLY since there is a much better, less hostile solution right in front of us: Simply Re-Release The Light Sprite and other retired festival items. No one has to get banned, no one has to feel powerless when looking at extremely inflated prices. Why you wouldn't want the more peaceful option is beyond me but something tells me that this isn't so much about the light sprite itself as it is about wanting to see Elisabluh kicked off the site for your entertainment.

Bro, have you read anything? Feels like talking to a brick wall just reading your commentsđź’€ Maybe some want Elisabluh banned but I think most just want the items rereleased???
why is everyone arguing with me then. I agree with re-releasing the items and I have been saying that repeatedly. Maybe they're bored and have to take their anger out somewhere
People probably keep arguing with you because you keep replying, if you are tired of it then perhaps it would be best to take a step back for your sake. Arguing on behalf of someone who won't even thank you is probably not good for your mental health anyways.
eh, it's not a huge deal. I defend people not because I want or need their gratitude, but because I think salt spaces (and the on-site forums!!) have a tendency to go way overboard just... condemning people. For things that it's understandable to be mad about but are inconsequential in the grand scheme of things and shouldn't spark this kind of vitriol and public callouts. I'm not even here to try change everyone's minds, I just want to put my point out here so that this whole thing wouldn't remain a one-sided circlejerk. I don't mind explaining myself further.
Disliking someone and finding more and more reasons to do so to the point where you want them kicked out or made to suffer, even if the subject is literally just some pixel item, is like an internet sport. Most of the time I don't even say anything. But this particular case is so wildly, wildly blown out of proportion. Like I said before. Some of you really need to reign in your feelings about this little golden gremlin.
Tbh if that's how you feel about salt spaces then you probably shouldn't take part in them. This person in particular was called out for her snarky remarks and rude replies that she constantly made as well as her behavior. She herself sort of fueled the fire. I think if she had said nothing then no one would be as upset about the situation as they are. It's kind of the Streisand Effect happening in real time here on FR.
I understand wanting to come in from the other point of view but sometimes that's just not necessary or should be defended as heavily. In this case I don't know if I would personally want to be seen defending this person. I don't think she, or anyone deserves to be harassed at all but I think you can see why people are not happy with her?
Ofc there are times when people take things too far but I don't think things would have escalated as they did without her fanning the flames. Your replies also sort of added fuel to the fire. This thread might even be dead by now had you just simple let things go. Personally I couldn't give a shit about that stupid familiar, it's ugly to me and I don't want one but it's understandable why people are upset with her actions around them.
if they're a malicious person and breaking rules by treating others on-site with malice? no issue. If they're being interpreted as malicious because they're doing something people don't like but are well within their right to do, and taking on an annoying attitude but ultimately not targeting anyone or breaking rules, there's a problem.
I don't have an issue with them making Y1 items more obtainable. But they should also prevent people from maliciously manipulating the market. Hope that helps!!
