Pebble here: definitely join the Earth dom discord, it’s where most of the community are and it absolutely is not just for people who can help with dom. You’ll be able to find ways to help with dom there if that’s what you want or you can just chill. And yes we have a level 25 programme, you can ask for a level 25 dragon for free on some minor conditions.

Also I’m not in the tearoom so idk how it compares to the dom discord, but I’ll just mention that we are still a small flight and the dom discord isn’t as active as some other flight discords. It is active every day, people are super friendly and it’s very cosy, but throwing that in just so you know what to expect.

Yeah the moving away from dark/serious lore makes me a little sad tbh. I mean, I don't mind them moving away from dark, but a lot of the more recent stories also lost the serious tone. I don't like the goofy stories; I didn't enjoy the Sandsurge story at all because it was silly all the way through.

I like both but I definitely do lean more towards ancients. In my case, when I go to gene up a modern I get frustrated when I try to find a tert I'm happy with- I don't know if I just like the linebreakers more or if ancients just have a nicer variety or what. Moderns really need more terts.

Ancients are also a lot easier to gene up. Putting a gem gene on a modern is 'oh no I better make sure I really want this that is a lot of gems.' Whereas with ancients it's 'hee hoo gem genes go brrr'

+1. Once I realise ancient genes (not just gem ones!) are half the price of moderns I pretty much don't have modern projects any more.

I like ancients about the same as moderns tbh. Aside from fandragons, I actually prefer keeping dragons undressed or with minimal amounts of apparel in general because I like letting the genes shine and in some cases I just like simply perceiving them as wild fantasy beasts not inherently bound to the canon societies.

I like both equally, but I have noticed I’ve started leaning more toward ancients when I’m scrying a new dragon. Part of it is the variety - we have so many terts to play with on ancients, and they’re usually much more interesting given the line-breaking aspect of it all. Not to mention most more cost efficient. I think most of my pending projects right now are ancients, in fact.

I do like dressing dragons up, but it can get overwhelming putting together an outfit and then trying to get all the pieces for it - especially if you’re trying to get Coli apparel. It’s nice to just have to focus on genes, so the projects go much quicker.

DA it seems the account is still unlocked because like counters are still up for both as of posting and they are searchable. Both Piuma and Varnish still haven't added back their coding or anything to their tabs though. Very suspicious that as soon as we point it out here that both accounts remove it lol

SA would also like to note that Piuma's dragons are fed so they are clearly active. Varnish's hunger has gone down a bit so maybe they jumped ship after the drama

I've found myself scrying most of my new G1s as ancients because I'm just so Meh about most modern tertiaries these days. I do like a small handful of modern terts, but I have so many dragons with them at this point that it just feels repetitive. I feel like ancients help me break out of that.

Staff tends to take forever to hit even obvious multi reports unless it hits Tumblr.

It does exist but it's not linked anywhere on FR, presumably on account of it having a channel for like, raunchier memes and stuff like that. Unfortunately, having deleted my Discord account, I'm no longer a part of it and don't remember what it's called, nor can I remember how I even found it and got an invite as it was years ago... I don't think we're allowed to link Discord invites here though?
