An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

Worth noting that the AA *has* made feedback forms in the past / a public suggestion form, but this one is much more specific than those in the past (specific ideas and direction with an open comment field rather than Just an open comment field). I hope it will get them better feedback, and that they'll actually be able to act on it this time.

Instead of an item that lets you change the flight of an existing dragon, it would be a lot less disruptive to let you temporarily change the element of one of your nests. I agree that people shouldn't be pushed to an unsupported behavior such as lending out their dragons, with the potential for scams and inconvenience to everybody, as the only possible avenue for getting hatchlings with a different eye color. (I get the initial intent was probably a purist 'users in Fire flight will only ever have fiery-themed pairs/fandragons/etc' mindset, but that's not how people work and nest renting is such an obvious loophole that clans 'using' nests of other elements is going to happen anyway.

There's a billion categories of items that all melt down into different slop and each different slop has like 50 different color variants and I can never remember what turns into what and God forbid u want a specific color for a recipe AND THE SLOPS DONT EVEN GET THEIR OWN CATEGORY TO KEEP MY HOARD ORGANIZED

at least you can use the subcategory Transmutation in the materials tab you get to see all your slops + the other mats for baldwin but i still hate them all being squished all over materials next to two hundred junk items with no use.
what i hate most about baldwin is that the window to chose the items you wanna boil down is roughly as big as two ants, lags like shit and the item icons take forever to load

That window legit causes my entire browser to lock up and affects other pages. FR REALLY needs to optimize it.

Anyone else been having serious lag with FR lately?

Fr has randomly been SUPER laggy/slow loading and it's been causing my browser issues.

Unhelpful, but I'm loving the use of "slops" to refer to baldwin goop materials as a whole. I'm gonna use it from now on. lol

yes, it's been unbearably slow for me. it wasn't too bad earlier today but both today and yesterday before rollover it's been awful. hope it gets better :|

I hate some of the meat items being pets that I have IRL. Seeing the cockatoos and lovebird makes my imagination loud with images of dragons casually killing and eating them.

my only gripe - coming from someone who actually picks wild edible mushrooms and so is very familiar with both edible and non-edible mushrooms - is that the artists probably haven't ever seen a mushroom outside a supermarket as even real mushrooms (never mind the fantasy ones) come in a far wider variety of colors and patterns than that.

yeahhhh the parrot meat items always bothered me too :/

i'd be surprised if osiem never saw mushrooms in the wild as picking mushrooms is a collective polish autumn obsession, so I'm guessing they defaulted to these patterns for cartoony simplicity.

As someone who is obsessed with mushrooms, I feel the same, but at the same time, I'm also delighted we have more at all. We don't have a lot of mushroom apparel.

No, Brightmyth had multiple accounts and was found out because he submitted a ticket with the wrong email or some shit.

the fuckton of money is from printing popular UMAs, yeah. but the ban was for multiaccounting. according to a post on brightmyth's own tumblr, they said their previous accounts were made when they were younger and hadn't been touched for years. i don't know how much money they actually made from those, but no 13 year old running g&g on a couple of multis could have earned enough gems to buy the two g1 triples in their old lair lmao

Yea. I wasn't saying the wealth came from the multis. Brightmyth got wealthy legitimately, and was likely a good way to get folks buying gems.

But that smoking gun mistake of using the wrong email made it so staff couldn't really ignore the multi in fairness, even if the wealth wasn't from it.

And I do think staff tries to be fair in enforcement.

im supporting ice as well. they had a lot less time to prepare and its admirable that they stepped up, especially with the current price of battles.

on a more petty note it also helps that ice hasnt called me a vulture for wanting a dom battle.

I headcannon that the meat creatures are actually being taken out for snacks instead of being eaten. Like they're just there and sometimes my wildclaw will have lunch with the sakura owls.
