i love going through threads where everyone is like ‘flight rising devs are holding me at gunpoint and FORCING me to spend ten of my hard earned dollars on gems for a useless ANCIENT’ and blocking them all. complaining about site features that you literally don’t have to use is obnoxious entitled behavior. you can just get one of the many treasure breeds or wait for the fodder floor on the new release to drop… i’m sure it’s at least part of the same crowd that complain about dragons having no ‘worth’ anymore. too many people want instant gratification/profits in a browser game that has managed ten years based on the integrity of its staff and constant free releases.
The restoration cooldown for normal dragons has been halved!

Who is better, Paw Borough color system, or the one Wajas is rocking where it just mashes hex codes & patterns together into a muddy mess if you don't plan your shit out in advance?
Benefits to the Wajas system are mutations (I guess I'd compare them to line-breaking ancient genes), the ability to carry passive traits that can be passed on to offspring, and being able to breed as many patterns as you want into your Wajas. Like if one dragon could have "berry basic+mauve hex+ruby fade/red iridescent+orange hypnotic/white polkadot+silver circuit+black firebreather+pink soap"

Right? It's hardly real-cash paywalled; premium currency is perfectly accessible even if you never spend a cent of your earth money, and Sandsurges will be 20g a pop by the end of the month anyway. The gem: treasure ratio is pretty stable for trading, you get daily gems with a well-fed bonus, gems come out of the chests you get from bonding with familiars, and now we even get gems for achievements. That's much better than the options many other sites have for accessing their premium currency!

Wind has the worst eyes for me. I can't unsee the fartblast. I'd suggest maybe white or grey instead, but I think that might tread too much on the toes of Ice. Ice could become more blue to compensate, but we have enough blue already with Lightning & Water, and if Water becomes more green/aqua/teal, it might get confusing with Lightning or Nature.
I love the idea of two-toned eyes. Plague rare & primal have got the right idea with the green (yellow?)/red combo. And whichever Lightning eyeball it is that brings in a little copper to pair with the cyan, that one's great too.
I do think Flight Rising made good judgments with their color/element selections! Just wanted to chat about it.

💯 i'm completely in the same boat as you, i would totally have ancient permas if there was just a bit of apparel like flowerfalls. they just seem plain in comparison to my other permas which is a bummer bc some of the genes are incredibly cool. i don't need silks or other more complex apparel, i just want a teeny bit more pizzazz!

The two toned eyes are awesome, they make a lot of my G1s work better because the second tone helps it be matchier. And when both tones match it looks great.
I wish you could get dark/light grey eyes somehow, especially on a shadow dragon. Sometimes the purple works great, sometimes you've got a simple black/white dragon you don't really want color on.
i only ever played a little bit of wajas bc i wasnt really into the way it worked or the art style but i won't lie those mutations were dope as hell and i did like having multiple markings. lioden is kinda close in that regard but not really. especially since they also have pet death.

Maybe, but 1) I'd feel iffy for taking pay just for using somebody's readily-available tool, 2) I don't have the consistent time available for FR to know that responding to unpredictable forum posts would be anything but stressful, and 3) I don't want to un-anon, or I'd just post a guide onsite.
