SA because I'm high and I need to talk about it-
I actually like Sailfish/Marlin because it does some neat things, but ONCE AGAIN, they pulled the cowardly shit of not letting Sunset be ridiculous with oranges and purples and shit, no. It's different shades of orange.
I love what Sunset does with buttpet and jaguar/rosette but like.... why did they do that if they're just gonna be lazy with the other genes. I really want more genes that pull off that ACTUAL sunset range of colors and accents and Sailfish/Marlin had the potential to REALLY bring in the purples, but they copped out. Again.

A different account (account 2) messaged me wanting to buy them immediately after I stuck them in my hibden, said account was full of dragons with "belongs to "person who rented my nest username (account 1)"" in their bios and were on this accounts nests. I naturally assumed they were an alt account and asked them why they blocked me with their main only to message me with an alt, account 2 responded that they were just a friend who'd been asked to check up on the dragons and account 1 didn't realize they'd blocked me. Sounds incredibly made up considering the initial message said they were just causally looking for dragons when they found my lair. Anyways account 1 then unblocked me and I was able to cr their dragons back and get out of that potential multi accounting mess.
The resolution is so poor with whatever they did to the lineart that I can't even stand to look at the breed since it looks out of focus compared to any other breed. It's a shame because the design is awesome and the new genes are really unique and fun. I can't figure out what went wrong because everything looked fine in the WIP livestreams, but I guess when they resized that file got overly compressed. Pretty sure the same error showed up in one of the achievements announcment banners (it got really blurry) and that was never corrected either.
i'd recommend just. not using the very hard difficulty. after some practice with chaining i got the achievement pretty easily on easy/normal (can't remember which)

I like them. They're fun. And the augment gene is neat.
But too many people got their expectations too high, in spite of Undel having streamed drawing them. You weren't ever getting full robot dragons. Just genes you can use for robot dragons.

I find it funny that the announcement thread has already been locked because people are complaining about the breed being a gem breed and others were complaining about the people complaining...
If you haven’t already, I’d just go ahead and block both the original owner and their ‘friend’. Even if they’re not a multi, they sound like a headache to deal with. Glad you finally were able to get rid of the dragons!
genuinely so funny cause admins told us about the breed and their approximate release time months in advance so people could expect it and save up gems. and yet there's people mad because they didnt rub 2 braincells together

i thought the familiar was a noggle at first because the face looks just like the april fool’s day noggles
acting like there haven't been gem breeds before. takes one week of maxing the fairgrounds to earn enough to buy a scroll. it's not hard
anyone know how to get the full size images of dragons? not the "normal" size you see on the dragon page (350x350), but the same size as the skin/accent canvas dragon (750x750)

yeah people are sadly fucking dumb and can't read, the admins gave ample time and heads up that the new breed was a gem breed
and 1000 gems is really not a big deal on FR, compared to other pet sims on FR it is super easy to get gems.
