because they talked about it in an FR server. Ambulocetus is a really talented artist and they made a few CAs that do not look like only brush work. I'm inclined to believe them with how sketchy LW has been.

Found the thing, Quiche was getting clarification on if they allow brushes with repeating patterns because there's a rule about repeating patterns. So even if the person didn't use a brush it may have also been because of the repeated pattern of the leads (I believe the artist said they drew one layer and then duplicated it to get the affect? So it may have been the repeating pattern and the opportunity to ask about brushes to the higher ups was used. Idk)

I found the post on the ca support thread. The repeated pattern of the leaves was why it was sent to the higher ups if I'm reading what Quiche said right. They were checking if it was fine or not for brushes with repeated patterns since there's a rule against repeating patterns(why that would need to be clarified if they already have a rule against repeated patterns in general idk). Whether a brush was used for the ca or not it was probably the best example they had at the time to clarify. I remember it being talked about in lorwolves ca channel but I went to find it again and the artists messages were gone so I've only got everyone else's messages and not the artists to reread. I'm not saying the used a brush or not, but I remember the CA in question and I can see why the staff may have thought it was a brush. It wouldn't have been the first time I've questioned if someone used a brush or not (most of the time it's they drew it once and then copy pasted which has the unfortunate side affect of looking like a brush, which the artist said they made 1 layer and copy and pasted it)

They may not *technically* be actually growing from the rock itself (but somehow getting soil/growing through the rock) but it can certainly look like they are growing from rocks without looking closely.

I frankly don't see the issue at this point. They made a mistake, fucked up the fix, and went to something they couldn't mess up for the final try.
