No prep has been done for FF

If fire doesn't have dom for FF do not blame anyone but fire. We JUST got the ping from organizers about staffing the FF spreadsheet for the raffle. All throughout WW there was no direction on group effort storage or a number of things that needed to be done

FF this year stands for FUCKING FINALLY!! 2 days prior to push we ping for raffle acceptors. No pre-stores from WW/any dom efforts. No reminder pings 'hey, store up hatchlings/lv7+'

FodderArt was done so go check that out I guess? Thanks artists for being more organized than anyone else!

Oof, i'm sorry nonny. =/ I'm in Arcane and that sounds a lot like how the "planning" for our recent House Cup went. Have they always been this way or is this new?

Not the above nonny but a very worried member of fire. We don't know anything that's going into the oof raffle or any events. Some asked for help on a thread that was set up for FF prep but it never got any traction? I am really worried that tonight's reveal is going to be awful. I tried to reach out to an AA member and was told 'We have it handled, don't worry about it.'

okay, but what about the events people wanted to run and posted about needing help? Some people wanted some help with sorting out prizes or spreadsheets and nothing was done. I just have a pit of anxiety in my stomach that this is going to be terrible. We don't have good raffle coverage either so it's going to be up to a handful of people to do it.

I know a lot of Fire peeps are sitting in a VC together fretting over the OOF Raffle that hasn't been revealed to any of us. We started school this week so we can't help out a whole lot but we are planning on buying fodder and exalting it off the AH? ? ? Will a handful of fodder a day even help us win dom? It feels like the AA have things together but there is just no communication and it makes me feel uncomfortable.

are other flights more open and communitive? I don't like this feeling at ALL. I feel like it's going to go live and it'll be fine. They have so many items the OOF Raffle won't be a mess right? Right?

In my flight users could like, stalk the raffle inventory spreadsheet to see what's been assigned to upcoming raffles if they wanted to, I guess? So the info is available but not broadcasted or advertised by the team. I don't think anyone really looks because it's not like we can win the OOF prizes anyway.

other flights are waaay more open and communicative than this. I've been in water and plague and they're both like the complete opposite. join one of them and you'll be totally shocked.

Ember here! We did not have any input on the OOFR. The way the prizes are set up is bizarre. I don't know why the fire sprite is hidden almost 20 prizes in. The IFR isn't any better. I wanted to try and talk with the AA but I just don't care anymore. They don't take any criticism, they don't tell us where the items we donated go. I know earth isn't trying to be on top but I don't know if Fire's going to GET this fest unless something changes.

I'm waiting for the excuses of 'oh, someone's out to get our dom from us!' or 'We can fix this'.

The SPREADSHEETS WERENT EVEN LISTED IN THE RAFFLE.

I've got a friend in Plague, wind, light and lightning. I asked them to let me know when Fire pings for mercs because that's the only way this haphazard, disorganized mess is going to get us dom.

I believe 100% that AA told themselves 'it's flameforger's, no one will steal it from us.'

same here. this isn't worth the hassle of manually writing down usernames, waiting for pickup and only getting a few coins for profit (or none at all if you send for raffle!). might as well just exalt these dragons myself lmao

Same.. especially with such a boring and raffle, noticeably lower than average payout and a sheet where you can’t even copy names from. Jeez.

And I’m not trying to imply that Fire (or any other flight pushing for their fest) should have a lot of expensive y1 stuff. That’s too much. Just saying there’s a bit too much coli/baldwin stuff in there for me.

Guess my fodder will be celebrating FF at home this year.

Another ember here. I had stocked up on fodder for this push but after these last days and honestly last month of AA barely doing anything about the feedback they've been given I might not even exalt this week.

They few people that seemed to try hard for AA have either now left or are not given enough credit or help from the others.

This push seems so very unorganized.

Of course people have lives outside of this game but if you've taken on an assignment to be the Dom team then you should do so.
And if you need a break then just say so. People will get that.

But honestly I kinda hope someone else takes Dom this week because maybe then AA will listen to what Fire Flight have been screaming.

The AA (fire dom leads) are doing less than the bare minimum for FF's push. No one will steal dom from a fest.

The payouts listed on the graphics is still what it originally was, but the updated payouts in the spreadsheet look way better (public buy noticeably exceeds Plague's prices last week; even raffle prices are slightly better—e.g. I was sending level 10s to plague at 16,250t, and the raffle price for level 10s is now at 16,500t). And the prizes are organized really nicely now, too.

they were called out for trying to make profit off of the raffle by the flight members. they got pissy with the flight and you could tell from every text they sent. They got upset they were 'forced' to up the prices of the spreadsheet when Earth was ahead of us for most of the day with just casual exalting. A bunch of embers cleared out pre-leveled fodder on the AH too to try and push us over the top. None of the flight was pinged for the raffle thread IF, people were confused in the discords that the push was this week because we got no pings prior except for a raffle attendant request and artist request.

the whole thing has been frustrating because embers are using NEW and PERSONAL funds to buy leveled fodder and not bank funds because those 'need to be saved for a conquest'.

That's so sketchy, especially since it doesn't seem like Fire has a conquest planned? (Next battle is a profit push for Halloween and then nothing for the rest of the year according to dom watch.) Why are they acting like the bank doesn't belong to the entire flight?

ok, I was the one to mention their hateboner for Shadow, and I will admit that I am very biased by being in Shadow, but their hateboner feels to me like classic bully situation - person has bad home life and feels not in control, person tries to reclaim good feelings by bullying others. Only in this case, Fire's dom have troubles, they find convenient targets to show how, actually, there are no problems, our dom is great, look, we won a battle :)
So I think that if they are already refusing to spend treasure on a fest push which is a basic flight expense that can be planned literal years in advance, then we in Shadow should assume that one of our winter pushes will randomly become a battle (again) because Fire has always pushed that week or whatever excuse they manufacture again. Possibly other flights on the less active side should be wary too.

what the fuck? dipping into dom funds for your literal biggest event of the year is a no brainer. its a celebration of your flight and also a great opportunity to flex/show off your community when all eyes are on you. them not wanting to spend anything on that is so baffling and as an OOFer i have 0 confidence in fire's ability to get their shit together if they actually want to conquest.

Ya'll need to fire/overthrow AA. There is no transparency with your bank which is absolutely absurd, and with those insulting raffle prices (10.5k for level 7, seriously????)... They clearly are just using the bank/FF just to line their own pockets. It's probably best to start fresh (which sucks as this is the second time for fire), but you have no idea how much they embezzled at this point or what they even have.

This is disgusting, and embers deserve better. I am so sorry.

tbf, overthrowing/firing dom teams just isn't doable. Even back when JonTawhatever/JonSnOwO was at the pinnacle of his shittiest plague dom form, when people floated the idea of someone else trying to take over and make a second dom organization, the feedback was overwhelmingly negative about it.
