I lost my well-fed bonus last night (my own fault, I generally skate too close to the edge, but I didn't realize quite how close to the edge I was when I deposited a 41-energy dragon into the HD, lol). But no big deal, figured I'd miss a couple days, has happened before. Made sure my level was up to 82% before rollover anyway.
After rollover, 80% as normal...but my bonus bar is full again. Was there a grace period introduced recently that I'm not aware of? Was losing it in the first place some kind of error that was fixed? I don't see anyone else on-site talking about having something similar happen recently. Grateful, of course, but curious!

lol, i didn't know act/nearku's enabler was close with nensec??? in nearku/act's callout post i remember seeing kveikur basically enable the ever loving shit out of them and act like they did nothing wrong

Why the hell are people on SMR so fucking obsessed over this ID verification shit? There are risks on both sides! It's a dead horse, for the love of god why do SMR users keep beating it?? Literally no where but this one drama blog have I seen this issue get dragged through the mud so much. There is no winning.
Different people weigh different risks differently! It's almost like adult humans are individuals who can make educated decisions for themselves based on available information. Stop shoving the information around with your passive aggressive bullshit and let people take it in at face value.

I'd like to beat this into their thick skulls but I don't think I'd even chip the surface so I'm gonna bitch about it here instead. God, just as we had some good wanker material, this cranks back up.

I've seen conflicting answers to this, so I'm curious about everyone's thoughts.
I know there are accessibility (and gaming probably) programs that allow you to map a specific spot on your screen to a specific keypress, 'clicking' that spot as if you'd clicked it with your mouse.
The most obvious use for this would be the %^#$%# fight on button in the coli, but would be nice for the two-window method of fam bonding too.

but that's A) old, B) not an actual dev response and C) refers to scripts rather than just a program, I don't know if that would make any difference; you're just changing your own computer's inputs/interface, rather than modifying FR the website in any way.
Obviously the reason that it would be convenient (you can do tedious things more quickly and easy) might be the very reason the staff doesn't want it to happen, but as noted in that post, it's not autoplaying in any way; you're still initiating each action with your own brain and fingers, you just don't have to move your wrist as much.

My paranoid ass is wondering 'but what if they're able to tell that I'm clicking the fam heart on the same pixel every time and/or just zipping through them too fast to be manually relocating the mouse pointer every time'; it feels dumb to think they can monitor things that finely, but again: paranoid.

:( my biggest wish for the last 9 years has been for FR to add commas to numbers. i cant parse them and have to paste into notepad and add commas myself

Given that FR took down/changed the name (can't remember) of the skin several years ago that was named "Plague of Madness" after an episode of the cartoon Primal and was visually very similar to a character in that show, are they going to do anything about the "Ceaseless Watcher" skin? That phrase is from the podcast The Magnus Archives and the skin's patterns look similar to The Eye, though simple drawings of eyes all more or less look alike. I can't remember what FR's policies about other media are or how strictly they're enforced

A lot in their post makes it look like it's a gag, which ordinarily I would just take as the theme, but also there haven't been any attendants when I've checked between rollover and now. Am I the only one that feels like it's weird to say that you're selling treasure? As the basic currency it makes more sense to say what it is you're buying with your treasure.
