I wonder if this will only be for Wavecrest or for all future festivals/or if this was just a staff thing? I know they originally started doing it at 6:00 server time because it was easier for staff *shrug*
Thank you for this, I saw the update, but didn't take note of the time. I'd love to see things go back to starting at rollover (even if it means they end then in the future too), particularly now that special items drop from so many activities - I've screwed up both with doing dailies too early on the day of a fest or other event, and with not doing dailies at all because I skipped them at my usual time and then forgot later.
If we don't actually return to the old paradigm, it would be great to have both an expansion of the Joxar 'don't gather yet' warning (currently only for gathering, not other activities, and doesn't help with microholidays and whatnot) and a more customizable version of the Which Waystone so it's obvious as you move about the site that you've got important stuff to do before rollover that day.
