Aberration breed changes were released for treasure, which dropped the price of gems - the initial rush for Aberrations is dying down, so gem prices are rising again. I think that's all there is to it!
Also...the sheer amount of Aberration skins and accents, a lot of which are probably coming out of the queue by now, would bump the rate up, i'm assuming.
+1 to this, though im also willing to bet nvp also didn’t help; i know i personally have a ton of t on hand from sending to the pb/private & ah mercing where treasure seemed to be the more lucrative option
