Personal mercs are fine. It's bank-funded mercs that are banned.

I still think it's a pathetic cop-out: what's the actual difference between a player donating treasure to their bank to buy mercs and a player spending all that treasure by themselves to buy mercs? Nothing besides who does the majority of the work, a single player or everyone. But sure, now two flights are patting their backs how they aren't using those dirty dirty bad mercs despite my flight's merc group having standing orders from multiple people on BOTH sides.

Yep, my flight's mercs have delivered hundreds of dragons already. There's sure to be more. What a cool expense to fund privately!

Just curious, what are your mercs getting for level 5s? I feel like the people that handle these deals for my flights are settling for too little when they accept orders

Well, typically, when a flight orders dragons they just get exalted for the push, but when an individual does that person gets credit for the in flight raffle. Thats the only real difference (other than funding obviously).

It's not that deep. Not sure where you are getting that both flights are patting each other's backs. Nor did either flight say that mercs were bad. They just agreed not to fund them this time. Like someone else said, other flights have made this agreement before, Nature and Plague just chose to be transparent about it.

Individual players who are buying mercs are getting IF raffle tickets. And I've heard the IF raffles are pretty fucking good.

Yeah mine is taking orders for only 500t over the PB price. Not worth it for me so I am listing, and they are selling.
