Sludge is made from items from the other tab while goo is made from food. People out of laziness or just unsure what to melt from the other tab will melt things from food first and food is a very abundant resource.

Unless they've been bought/taken down, I don't see any listings by the first user; as for the other, again unless you're referring to old listings, selling a mat for 2g doesn't really seem to be scamming. Unlike...hey, it's been a while since I checked, and whaddya know, there is indeed a Rainbow Sprite up there for 2500g. Although I wouldn't even swear to that one being a scam, since typically you used to see those posted just between the most expensive Nature and the cheapest Water.

Morbidly amusing to read this when catching up here, having just this weekend gotten successfully chased out of an online space I was otherwise enjoying by one of those "I was just JOKING, why are you so SENSITIVE!' types...seriously, fuck that kind of attitude so hard.

The silvers are ALSO not matching colours; the recolour's silvers are more blue toned while the fest apparel's is neutral toned. I don't think they're intended to match as much as everyone thinks they are.

there's snowflake patterns in the cloth and the things hanging down kind of look like icicles. Also it's vaguely ice Flight colored, maybe?

tintinnabulation and countertenor are both stunning but they don't really read as ice skins to me either, definitely don't mind being able to get them for cheap though

I wish they would intentionally do this more often, but not in this way.

There are so many festival apparels that I would love to use if only X piece was a separate item.

The odds are very very high, nonny. Registration windows were like 24 hours long, maybe 48 MAX. Literally thousands of people would join per window and all have the same join date, so the odds of two different people (even two with the same money-making strategies) joining on the exact same day are exceptionally high. Those are also like 2.5k users apart, so very likely in different time zones entirely. Chill your paranoia.

I get your point and that of those in the thread are objecting; especially given the hyperbolically generous tone, it does seem predatory.

But it's also worth noting that the user is effectively paying a combined 160~g (they pay the initial 80kt cost and then 80g for the chest - also, I don't know when exactly the ratio went back down, but yay for the return of easy math!). And if a given user really has no ability/inclination to earn the initial 80kt for themselves (as strange as that sounds to me, who's been autopiloting through G&G nearly every day for years), I guess they are indeed coming out 80g ahead of where they would have been otherwise.

Including a PSA in their post about the real LAH couldn't hurt, though. Or an alternate offer: "Okay, I'll send you the 80kt to buy a chest for me. Then I'll pay you an additional 80kt for it...which you can put in your vault until next month, and then use to spend to buy another crate to flip for a bigger profit."

In the left-hand menu bar of any Flight Rising page, look for the 'Festive Favors' link (at the bottom of the 'Shop' section).

It will take you to a page with two big icons, 'Elemental Festival Shop' and 'Joxar's Spare Inventory'. Click the second one. (Or just go here: https://www1.flightrising.com/festive-favors/joxar )

Below Joxar's avatar and speech bubble, there's an entry for 'Spare Inventory Crate'. Click the 'Buy' button beside it. It costs 80,000t, which might seem like a lot, but you can make almost that much in a single day on the fairgrounds (feel free to ask for more help on that or any other aspect if needed!).

You can only buy (1) per festival week, so a max of eleven total per year.

It will contain two things:

A) a Prismatic Token you can exchange for any of the Joxar-exclusive items on that same page
B) a random item which may be one of those Joxar exclusives or an item from a previous elemental festival

1) Yep, the team hasn't announced that the feature will ever stop, so I would think they'll continue to be available during fests for the foreseeable future.

3) Since items from previous fests are semi-retired (you can buy them from other players, and get them randomly from Roundsey or Joxar, but you can no longer exchange elemental currency for an unlimited number of them on-demand, they're sometimes quite valuable in their own right. (Note, items from fests before Joxar was launched are not included, otherwise Crate prices would be much higher.)

You can also only get the Joxar items randomly from Crates or by exchanging Tokens for them. (Tokens can also be brewed in Baldwin during all elemental fests, but the recipe takes a long time and lots of materials.)

If you really want to, you can also make a second prismatic token by Baldwin's. But it takes several days to brew, so best do it at the end of the week and save it for next fest. (It's level 16.)

*you can make two tokens through Baldwin each fest, if you put one to brew on sunday and the other on saturday or so, so it's three tokens max each month.
