Update dropped, Gaia was still mod but made a passive-aggressive "There goes all my investment" comment
3 hours after update dropped, Gaia was no longer a mod, wiped their entire profile layout and now only has "semi-inactive" (and some graphics when scrolled down) written in there

I'd ba salty if I "invested"(in reality, gambled) hundreds of thousands of gems on scattersights remaining retired and nothing replacing them.

Gambled and lost.

Nothing holds value forever, so folks going all "surprised pikachu face" about this were naive to think the value on scattersights would just continue to climb, given how vocal the site was about eye types.
