Spassow has been called out by the whole fr Chinese server due to tracing and art theft. Also, managing to pissed off one of the biggest whales on fr (Victornikiforov) Leading to a very well composed and detailed callout post on weibo(smth like twitter but based in China)

Can someone do a "for Dummies" version of this? Or at least break it down like i'm 5? I'm trying to understand it and it's eluding me. A lot of the artwork looks the same to me, or sameish enough that even before this i had a hard time say, picking anyone out of a lineup. And why is Vic mad? Like i get being upset if the custom you paid for turns out to have been traced or something but once you pay for it.....it's kind of out of your hands what happens. =/

anon ss traced art to put on accents (and traced other things too), then changed the design after being called out on it with no apology or acknowledgement that they did something wrong. what else is there to say? commissioner is allowed to be mad about getting traced stuff bro, they paid the big bucks.

It's about commissions, that were traced, not accents in the case with Vic, I think.

I think her collection cost like 500usd which vitor has them all, but she spent mad cash on custom, about 2000usd on 7 skins. The big part is for gijinka arts, vitor spent 1500usd on SS-designed gijinka, and then spent another 9000 paying other artists to draw said gijinka.

Ayrt- Oh i totally get that they're mad about that, and they are 100% allowed to be! I'd be mad too if that happened to me. I didn't say that they couldn't be mad and i'm sorry if it came off that way, that's not what i intended at all. I just didn't understand the whole of it. I got that ss was being accused of copying/tracing (and did do that, now that it's been laid out for me) but to my untrained eye, i've been unable to tell much difference between a ss accent, an od accent or a sp accent for uh... years now. *is embarrassed* once an accent gets beyond a certain point busy wise (in terms of there being a lot going on with the accent i mean) then my eyes don't...pick out detail that much i'm sorry to say. =/

In terms of vic comming ss for gijinkas...that's another matter entirely. i'd be furious if the artist i paid a shit ton of money to then just up and outright copied something that already exists.

Does it really bother anyone else that someone has the ability to spend that much on a game? I know she is PoC but still.
