Honestly I was wondering the same thing cause like, if I had that amount of gems I sure as hell wouldn't spend it on some lineage dragon, even a 3 digit dragon lineage. No offense meant by this btw, I just cannot understand paying that astronomical price for something that isn't at least a triple g1. Especially when the other dragon didn't go for nearly as much? Kinda just boggles my mind

today, i finally got an issue resolved with a large online store for collectibles i was trying to buy things from. some sort of error on their end kept preventing me from successfully placing an order, and after a few unsuccessful tries, things seem to be working now, so i can continue my collection. just placed an order that will complete a set i wanted to have since i was a kid!

had a dream I posed some dumbass take here and the only response I got was from an arr mod with my IP address. the mod had a pfp with a front facing Peppa pig edited to look like a mirror (the dragon).

I was wondering this too when I saw it reach so high. From a quick glance it looks like Riku tends to like lineage dragons and they were liquidating dragons while the auction was going on but doesn't mean they weren't doing that, I guess. No idea honestly.
The thought occurred to me but I don't trust the critical thinking of the average FR/SMR user to NOT assume I was making fun of the person who uses/used peppa pig as a pfp on FR (or assume they're me.)
I feel so spoiled with all the recent high placings we've gotten.

in Week 3 yall beat Earth with a profit push and in Week 7 Fire got 3rd while not actively pushing. this shows that whatever the new dom team is doing is not just pushing more often, but encouraging people to participate more overall even on off weeks.

Can confirm as someone who has done a few special lineage auctions and has never had prices shoot up as fast as these particular people seem to do so often. How else would you explain these nothing-burger dragons going for so much? Yes the art is pretty but 1000 irl dollars?

I mean, the biggest thing right now on SMR is about the 'follow user' post, and that is mainly because it is a necro, not necessarily because of the thread post itself, though the more recent posts are starting to become SMR's standard 'complain about PvP users' posts.

I think there's just less actual drama that we get to see 'cause staff is quicker to deal with most of it so there's not much new stuff to talk about. We get the occasional old repeat offender cropping back up sparking some discussion and then we get people bitching about skinmakers and the folks complaining about SMR (despite the user overlap). But otherwise not a whole lot that's new. This is a salt community after all so if there's not a whole lot to salt about there's not gonna be much activity. People don't want to come here for normal ass "FRD topics" like what tends to crop up on SMR (a the frequent complaint about the blog), people want that juicy drama.
I don't think we're particularly well known though, most folks who want to salt about the game are gonna go to the more visible tumblr blog(s). They try reddit sometimes but they forget that an FR admin runs the official one, that's always funny. lol There might also just be less people here too.

I hate them. Their entire existence, I hate how you either have to be super rich in game with gems galore from art, skincents, etc...to even afford one. Or be around when the super obscure kickstarter was.
They are either a flex or a curse and I just hate them.
Not the people who own them, just the whole premise of the stupid things. I see them and gag. Go away, just wish they did not exist. Ew ARGH!
