That's just an instant buyer at low price. I often sell my stacks on the AH at around those prices for a quicksale, knowing it's slightly less than what I could get if I was willing to wait. I myself wouldn't go out of my way to the forums, because to me it defeats the point of quickselling, but this is not an unreasonable price. I *would* assume that someone offering those prices are likely flipping them (or possibly donating to a clan food bank, at least 1 user has commented on their page thanking them for food, or they're feeding their fodder, they sell fodder services, too). For many users food is overflowing to the point they just give it away, I'm really not too concerned about food flippers.
not sure what you mean by "that's a number you made up for yourself"? 30% is roughly the difference between the two numbers in the OP (360kt and 500kt).
AYRT I'm saying that if *I'm* already selling at a discount to get rid of bulk food (i.e. *not* 500kt, that's irrelevant here), I could hypothetically choose to sell through that thread because it would save me both the time of listing 30-100+ full stacks + save the transaction fees for each individual stack.

that's the key, innit?
you seem to know a lot about food pricing/selling. the forum thread is targeted at those who *don't* know a lot about it. actively taking advantage of others' lack of knowledge for personal gain = bad-faith trading, imo.
it's similar to the thread that offers a flat 2g for any coli familiar that (literally instantly) hoardsells for more than 2kt, except this person isn't explicitly lying about the value of what they're buying.
The only sellers on that thread joined in 2020 and 2013 respectively. Fortunae is asking for bulk purchases, so I really, really, don't see how that targets newbies in any way, shape, or form. If someone has enough bulk food to be selling *entire* full cr's of full stacks, then at that point they have been on long enough to check what the auction house prices are, and make a decision.
So far no one's been taken advantage of, Fortunae has not lied about anything, what's the issue here?
