Looks like their temp ban is over, and they’ve exalted the dragon now.
Exalting might have done them in - their account is no longer searchable, though it was earlier today
We can't accuse you at this point. Because they self identified and mods can see ips. If it was the same ip trolling for the user, that's for mods to figure out.
Quoting is necessary to show who and what you are replying to, so they can't edit it to make you look bad. And they literally admitted over here they are lying about the reason. They make half assed posts and want to be able to edit afterword without the original that others replied to be there.

Like counter is still up though, maybe either admins exalted the dragon or they got a 2nd suspension for it?
My guess is staff was watching and banned when they saw because it's such a consistent harassment campaign at that point
But if they were banned wouldn't the like counter disappear? Since that (and what, buying anything they got listed on the AH? I ain't spending 15k on a meh G1 though to test it lol) is the only indicator of bans we got?

Interesting, I’d assumed they’d done it because the dragons are also fed (they weren’t during the ban). It seemed like they came back, fed the dragons, and exalted that one. Now it looks like they got locked again but not banned.
I can’t imagine them getting relocked just for exalting a dragon. I wonder if they sent someone a rude DM about the situation or something? Mysterious situation.

Not sure if this is them, Alacris is still named Alacris on their exalt page. But it does really sound like them. I wonder if the mods changed the name back, actually?

The original owner already has a different dragon circulating that was a sibling to this one, so I doubt they would even want them back at this point. Alacris #1, the Bigot Bopper, lives on in memory.

Ownership rules aren’t going to force a user to keep a dragon. Based on the Reddit post, it was changing the name that got them banned again.
There are arguably some exceptions to the dragon ownership rule (as shown by this whole situation), but it wasn’t them keeping the dragon that got them banned the first time. It can be assumed to be some combination of harassment/callout (from their initial post stating they were keeping it to be petty) and hateful behavior (changing the pronouns - More specifically, it was likely something in the conversation between them and the original owner that got them banned first, which stemmed from Nobody999 changing the pronouns because it ‘goes against their beliefs’.)
With the second ban, it was because they changed the name to DeadMeat before exalting it. It wasn’t them exalting it that would get them banned - it was using the dragon to continue to harass the original owner (as the name would appear in the offspring list).
They didn’t get in trouble for keeping the dragon or for exalting it, because ultimately they are the one protected under dragon ownership rules in regards to that. Once a dragon leaves your lair, it’s not yours by site rules anymore, and things like traveling dragons aren’t a site supported feature. You’re free to do what you want with it. If all they’d done was keep it and even change the pronouns but never made a post about it, I doubt they’d have gotten banned. It was most certainly the forum post + something they said/did to the original owner behind the scenes that got them ban 1, and the harassment via name change that got them ban 2. (Well, ‘suspended’, but at this point they really oughta just straight up lock the account permanently.)

honestly I just hope that whatever is going on with them, it'll get better and that they'll change. like, they just straight up self sabotaged. and while that worked out well for all of us and they're getting punished as they should, why did they think any of this would go well for them in the first place?
