I collect doubles, too, and I try not to be a dick about it, but I have had like one or two people get snippy with me when I've won an auction.

"SOMEDAY I'll have a double of this color"

ive gotten that too, it makes me feel INCREDIBLY bad when people get guilt trippy
the last post i saw about me was "can the sapphire guy save some for the rest of us" and it made me feel SO bad. another post said i was a snob for having over 35 of them. i keep having to tell myself its not my fault theyre mad about it. i check the AH 4 times a day to see new ones being posted and I put in the effort to send PMs and make deals or just straight up buy them off the AH if its a price i know is fair

Yep. I run a search for mine every few days, and if there's a new one hatched, I ask the person who hatched them if they're willing to sell, with a base offer (usually based on the price I paid for similar tert color ranges).

I've got 35+ so far. It's my fav color, and I don't let the guilt tripping get to me. I save my gems for them.

Some folks want Naomi dragons, some want oldies, some folks want KS stuff.

Me, I want my XXYs in my fav color, and if someone gets mad I outbid them, it ain't my problem.

wait so if you're checking 4x a day I'm guessing you're not buying ONLY G1s which makes the other complaints even dumber... if you want a G2+ of anything just breed it??

no, they're G1s exclusively that i buy. i check the AH 4 times a day to see if anyone has listed a new one haha

If they want the colors so much, there are plenty of g2s out there. If they want a g1, they need to open up their wallet.
