Any guesses as to which breed of snake each flight will get?

as for cobra, i wonder if arcane will get it, purely because the cobra food items in the game are crystal/gem themed? sort of? onyx and opal.

Water needs a sea snake for sure. Hmm I wonder if they'll go for anacondas for any flight. Maybe nature?

I was thinking a milk snake (or coral, or kingsnake- similar coloring) might suit shadow in a sideways way since it reminds me a bit of casino colors and the circus/casino theme they have going on for trickmurk.

i could see them using it for ice (which would be funny since theyre found in rainforests) though i could also see them using the european adder. according to a few sources their range is northenmost of any snake, with some found north of the arctic circle :)

pictured here is a male. interestingly, these snakes are sexually dimorphic! females are generally brown instead.

Given their habitat and the (to me) leafy/thorny look of their scales, I actually could easily see them for nature.

As amazing as succulents would be, I think they're going by birth month flower! Which would make November chrysanthemum.

I'm excited to see Plague's snake with marigolds tbh :eyes:

oooh... that makes predicting more interesting. i know it's not exactly the same situation, but i wonder if they'll give us an additional familiar for those born in december (like when they released sparkling capricorn to complete the zodiac in 2021)
