I was the person who got jumpscared by his presence in the nest rental thread. I'm so sorry he and his friends have been harassing you with such vile emails. Bullies like him make me livid, and seeing *some* consequences for his behavior is a bit cathartic for those of us who never got justice in other communities.

If you ever feel like sharing some screenshots of the worst of the dirt in those suicide baiting emails from threshershark(m3g4l4d0n) and/or the names of some of those butt buddies doing similar shit, I'd be interested to see. Thresher's got a very consistent habit of suicide baiting and bullying, lying, denying he's done anything wrong, and then actively spinning the drama by publically trying to portray people he's targed and abused as somehow being the real!!1 aggressor. Having some solid documentation of him doing exactly this in action is a good idea imo.

No, I mean the dominance week that just happened. Arcane was profit-pushing all this week, never reached third due to Beastclans, and Light out of nowhere on Saturday jumped both over Arcane and over the Beastclans into third.
I meant generally I'm not sure what Arcane has to do at this point to place in dominance while pushing, since their active profit push was lost to a non-pushing flight, seemingly by accident.

because someone trying to fix their relationship with agression/drama could absolutely find value in positive mindfulness behaviors! and with different circumstances i could see this as a genuine attempt to grow and reflect on the ways he's hurt people. but to rebrand and return after a bafflingly short period of time and /still/ be posting about this and blindly defending his actions with the /same exact/ half-truths and deflections... this positivity stuff just looks like a smokescreen at best. i dont really see any self-reflection or growth here, just excuses.

as an arcanite i’m hoping and praying it’s because none of us really want to dig too deep into the reserves we’ve been building for avl so it doesn’t matter if we keep not placing in our profits. also house cup is just donation stuff for our side of the battle and it’s gone quite well in that respect so. once again… hoping and praying

Idk the deets on whatever thresher claimed exactly happened, and I could be totally wrong about this, but given his history of manipulation and shitty tactics I'm deeply suspicious about those 'multiple death' threats he suddenly got in the span of one day. Asks that that thresher supposedly got but never published or posted screenshots of, given the fact that he seemed to relish responding and trying to aggressively dunk on every comment he got on smr and every anon ask that he received to his tumblr acct.

Imagine it's 2008-2010, everyone is watching Breaking Bad, and there's message boards where you can talk about it. Now imagine you are disabled and took a liking to Flynn/Walt Jr., because seeing a disabled character be treated like a person by the rest of the cast is nice, actually. But every time someone mentions Flynn in the message board, a gaggle of Walter White cocksuckers floods the replies to that post with stuff like "Oh yeah? Well, I hope Flynn gets killed in a violent way next time he gets a speaking line."
This isn't about Breaking Bad, and the analogy isn't perfect. But this is the state of another fandom discussion board I'm in, for a background character I sympathize with for different reasons (a show that also has a gaggle of cocksuckers for one of the main characters related to this background character). I just want to talk about my blorbos in peace, man.

Ime there are two very distinct flavors of this. The worst is Walter White cocksuckers descending with obvious intent to ruin the discussion for anyone that likes Flynn, because they hate Flynn, they hate anyone that likes Flynn because they can't imagine other people engaging with fandom in a way that isn't cocksucking and bullying, they think Flynn is dumb/problematic/gets in the way of their favorite blorbo, Flynn reminds them of their ex or a dream they once had so any and all discussion of him must be met with extreme hostility and rage, ect.
The other flavor is Walter White cocksuckers who don't care if you like Flynn or not, and enjoy talking about things they both like and don't like on the forum, and are oblivious to the fact that someone occasionally bringing up a character they dislike is not necessarily an invitation for them to react to the topic with their unsolicited opinion of: 'oh the forum is talking about Flynn now. I didn't like that character! This is how I react to a character in Breaking Bad the show'.
The first thing used to be way less common. Now it's the dynamic I regularly see if I enter any public fandom server that isn't 18+. Woe be unto you that has not figure out which character a large public fandom server has decided is the unforgivable fave before posting there.

Also I wouldn't call it an 'active' profit push, because most exalters (including me) were burnt out already and even dom leads forgot about the push. We have very low numbers according to our spreadsheet and honestly I'm not surprised.

It doesn't look like we're very organized this week. No post on the Dom Watch thread yet. No real word on what we're doing this push. Our IF raffle thread is a broken mess- a reused image from the last profit push theme, a typo in the opening paragraph, a broken image link, and most egregiously: the links to the spreadsheet and submission forms are from a previous push, so they're all closed and unusable.
There's a bit of activity on the forums to prepare for our joint push with Earth. Maybe everyone got so tied up with it that we forgot about our profit push this week?
I feel bad as if I could have done anything to help, but I'm just a casual dom participant at most.

My experience has been with the first flavor of fans only (they appear to be a clique on the message board to support their main character fave). The character I like hasn't even done anything wrong. They are a sibling to a main character, showed up once, and was never heard from again. They're basically a nobody, yet attract the ire of vocal haters somehow, to the point of wishing said blorbo gets shot???
I had NO idea this behavior was such a common occurrence either. But, looks like the only solution is to cook more food of my fave blorbo and seek out other like-minded people, even if the anti-blorbos will forever mald about it. And... make more fandergs of my faves.
