hello yes, I am an ember so I decided to go look...
four dom leads stepped down last fall, all of whom I remember were pretty involved. applications were opened for new members, but no existing AA members were asked to step down or voted on for remaining on the team. all seven of the applicants were accepted.

I've been considering reaching out to some sheetwizards- I commissioned dems a bit ago for a new google sheet and they did a wonderful job with it. I do not see a reason not to support those OOF for fire assets either... I commissioned Sols for fire's bank badges a while ago when we were getting close to the deadline with little to none of em too, and they looked amazing!
That being said, embers wanting to pitch in would be priority- they represent the flight after all! But if we are ever in a crunch, OOF artists and the like I think should be a consideration in the future... If only we had the forethought of doing so now... Btw a quick update- I am free tonight and tomorrow, I will get this heckin banner done.. I would've yesterday but I was exhausted from my first day of work. I DID do a bit of attending/funding yesterday and today, and will continue to do so.

I'm sorry you're having to deal with all this. It sounds like a lot.
Warriorjames and Sassa were two confirmed people that bought an imp scroll (duped) and applied it onto dragons. They bought theirs with FR related currency as both had their imps de'imped after the whole ordeal shattered. They were not refunded as far as I know and lost whatever they traded for the scroll(s).
Zeus was not 'hacked in'. If he was, he'd have been exalted (as staff has done so before with non-legit gen 1 imps). The triple gold was born well before the scandal occurred.
A lot of people forget that happy had another gen 1 imperial that was very old and matching their account starting age. So they could have had two scrolls already and got hit with something else entirely to get that ban.

Friendly advice from someone who has put together a bunch of raffles. Don't worry about using your own dragons. If you make a post in flight asking for dragon prize donations, plenty of people will offer dragons. Just make sure that you list specific criteria or you are going to get deluged with dragons that no one will want to win in a raffle. You'll want to ask for things like level 25's, gen 1's with matching colors, older dragons. No offspring. (Genes on gen 1's do not matter, most people will want to gene themselves.)
Seconding this, adding that the level 25s will be even more coveted if stoned. Dragon taste is pretty subjective but you stick to those criteria and I'm sure they'll go

I'm not sure why you saying that you need oof support to start the internal changes, arcanes change started all within the flight, not out of it. Oof members only hindered and harassed the people who took no part in the CS and did not much good.
As for the lightning thing. Its very easy to see that the user you referred to is still in play and a member of the team, granted more silent now a days but still they are around. With the backlash, yes there was some support oof but the main things all happened shockingly in flight.
Fire also needs to get it together and actually do something, oof can not solve this for you. You as a flight need to do something about duchess, once everyone sees that. The support for the new team will come. There are a lot of members all over who will gladly help but only if it is seen and proven that she is not to touch fires Dom team or control anything anymore.
But again, it starts and needs to be held in flight.

As an OOF person who wasn't around for the drama with Celestial Senate and whatever else relevant, I'm not sure how OOF could help with pushing Duchess off your dom team. OOF is the least likely to know the details about whatever's going on in firedom for years and also has the least power in effecting change in your flight. The most we as OOF can do is to participate or donate to your events but there's not much point if structural issues still exist in firedom that the funds ends up in her hands anyway. Personally, I'm a little hesitant in participating any more than the OOFR as I don't know if the funds will end up squandered in Duchess' hands.

Easy or hard it’s still ridiculous grinding, and the staff usually make a big point to make playing this game not grindy. Just because worse examples exist doesn’t mean it’s not still kinda shitty.
Honestly as an ember, can I get it off my chest that I was sad to see Hinumi leave? I appreciated all they did for foddart, and I feel like all that really resulted from the step downs was cleaning the slate for Duchess to have even more authority over the new folks
The fodderart thread is always successful because Duchess doesn't get involved with it. She let's others handle that because of the fiasco a few years ago with the battle against light.
Over a year ago now, a few users in fire did have it out with duchess. There was a flight only discord formed and then Olde Duchess got real prickly. I fully believe a lot went on behind the scenes because we lost event runners and heavy hitters not long after. I followed suit and ended up in another flight that shows me how Dom should be run. I still miss all the old embers. Community is great but I won't go back if duchess is still in Dom.
Duchess doesn't even LIKE running events so why stay as a leader in Dom?

Me, and a few others plus the AA team are currently discussing what our best course of action is after this push. I will share details more on this later for transparency, but our consensus is that we have poor direction and management, as well as a need to reform how we currently operate as we are currently disorganized.
I do have some ideas to share on how we may reform this, and I will indeed be presenting that, as well as the opinions shared on this thread as well. Feel free to reply to this as well if there are arguments here that were not already shared!

I'm happy to let other people in my circle know what's going on too, although it's not very big because I'm a pretty introverted player. But is there anything else you want us to do? More material ways you're seeking support?
