I'm curious now, was Dakkokki's original account CaptainChompers banned because they were stealing other people's lineart for their skins, or some other unrelated reason?

It was for multi-accounting because I was grinding my friends' cauldrons for them on my computer. Completely unrelated.

I have no idea anymore tbh, knowing me, I was just going off what my skin shop said. The only way to know is if the two people who were on the pre-order list come forward, and if they do I'll be 100% down to reimburse them for what they paid, and I'll delete the skin if they send it back. ( Can you even hoardsell UMAs? Idk, if you can't then it'll sit in vault limbo forever. )

I'm not saying it wasn't bad, I *know* it's bad. Tracing is inexcusable, and over the years my belief of that has only grown, and why I do not acknowledge that past art and why I no longer have the original files on my computer. Hell, if I knew how to get FR staff to take down the skin I totally would, but since it is from a previous account I don't think they'd do anything about it because I remember I once asked if I could reprint an accent I did ( the nyarlathotep one ) on my past account and was told no and that I couldn't even have the name changed. ( This also explains why there's an additional mouth in the newer version because I had to change it a little so it wasn't a 1:1 copy of the previous accent, idk it was dumb )

So... after some point in 2014- wait sorry.. 2019, you deleted examples of stolen artwork from your thread and removed the evidence from your account and computer, you didn't actually admit or acknowledge anywhere that you were tracing and stealing art, and never apologized to the people you stole this art from. What, am I supposed to feel like the fact that you did the bare minimum of eventually taking down the plagiarized art from your gallery as evidence of any sort of remorse or integrity?

Tbh, I don't even know who the OG artists were, I tend to save things I think are cool to look at and don't write down who did them. So I'd totally apologize if I knew who to do it to. Also, I can't take down the old thread due to it being on my previous account.

Someone posted a link to the og artist that you ripped off for your 10-print skin. You could start there.

Nah, I'm ashamed I even did it in the first place. Like, genuinely I do not approve of tracing, even if I have done it in the past. Like, sure, shun my past self, do it, but don't keep saying that my current work is stolen and such because I have moved past that stage of thinking tracing was okay as long as I don't sell it to people and make it for myself. I *know* tracing isn't okay.

Dakkokki blatantly lying and backpedaling in this thread multiple times is something I honestly find as embarrassing as the fact that they stole and traced a bunch of lineart.

Still sitting here not even being the person to suggest doing the ID verification in the first place. But I have heard there's a bot that can do verifications and I'm gonna look into it so we don't have to ID people, as it is pretty annoying.
