ehhhhhhhhh. iunno. i think i'm disillusioned by ancients at this point. if the tertiaries are cool, my opinion may be swayed, but i'm still pretty firmly set on believing the last nice looking ancient was aberrations and want something as cool as that again.
Oh yeah def. To me Abs BOLDLY broke the rules of "one head, four limbs, 2 wings" with having two heads and being interesting about it. (of course Abs arent the only whos who blatantly broke those rules like Banes and Undies but execution of Abs to me are actually interesting)
To be fair, this one is said to be a gem ancient. And remember what they said with Veils; they don't want the really weird ancients locked behind a paywall.
they don't need to do *really* weird ancients behind paywall, but they *could* do something *unique*, which is all i'm asking. the snippet they showed at 4:40 in their timelapse looks like a more fun design than what they're going with.
