You're not alone in that thought. They're basically begging for free shit from a user just because they said they're quitting. Also, kinda guilt-trippy of them to add that they'd buy familiars if they weren't ~broke~.

i've sent messages like this before, not meaning it in a gult-trippy or begging way, and then only realised afterwards how it actually looks.
