I mean, tbh, would you want to admit to that either? Been doing some self reflection lately and it's making me realize, fuck no if I got locked I'd probably act like one of those people saying it was a sibling/friend/roommate's account to try and wiggle out of the ban.
Side note, though. Apparently most multiaccount appeal tickets take months to get even get a reply. With how abnormally fast staff apparently responded to him and the amount of people who try to pull the 'it wasn't me it was my little brother' card, I'm starting to suspect staff just don't reply to people who try to lie to them.
Hey, being embarrassed is human and so is the impulse to lie or fudge the specifics a bit to save face... but if you want to actually pull that off maybe don't make your multis so embarrassingly easy to find, lmao what was he expecting would be the outcome of this, he named the account that was running until 2019 or beyond with his own email address
Yeah that was a no-brainer. It's almost like he forgot it existed at all, because I can't imagine leaving that obvious of a connection up? It's even weirder how long it took for staff to get on it.
I still have to honestly wonder if staff miiight have turned a blind eye on that one. I can't tell if the account was banned before this week but it's certainly been hanging out there in the open for anyone to see. Then again I guess staff doesn't have much motivation to spend their budget investigating their users for off-site clues to petty rule breaking and honestly I'm glad they probably do not.
Lol BM is very human and for the most part a good chap, I come here to enjoy the tea about embarrassing drama but overall I'm glad he's taking it in stride and joining back with a new account :)
