if it makes you feel better in regards to OOF support, people tend to support the underdog and Arcane will certainly be seen as that. On the other hand, Light's got the efficiency and the money and is certain to have a killer raffle to pull in that OOF support. plus I think since Light has faded as a dom powerhouse, they've got a lot more good will and incentive for other flights to support them. But the underdog appeal is strong

da i would consider vacationing in a dom heavy flight to get an idea of how other flights do things. I found it to be a good learning experience.
dom doesn't have to be hard. you can ask other dom teams for help. a conquest push with public buy can be done for less than 20-30 million treasure so it's not even that expensive to "buy first place." there's a lot of stuff that can be done to improve.

da i highly recommend, if your flight doesn't agree to buying mercs with dom funds in the battle terms, finding private individuals who want to place dom orders. mercs are underrated during battles and you can bet that light will be trying to get all the merc companies on lock, whether it's paid for by the bank or by individuals. if you can raise on their prices you can keep an edge. I feel like mercs are a great way for the less strong flight to level the playing field and I'm kind of bummed that merc culture has died out.
I hope that’s the case, the cards seem stacked against us either way.

what's the process like for being part of the dom team? if you have leeway to just... jump into things yourself, I would. in most flights I've observed the dom team encourages members to run fundraisers and such and get involved in programs even if they're not leads.

Yeah it seems like our dom forum is all over the place. Tbh you can get pretty quick answers through discord but again, that's another barrier to go through which I feel shouldn't be there? It could definitely do with some cleanup to make things easier for newbies and get them into dom. We seem pretty newbie-heavy afterall.

I don’t believe member-run things are too common, and there IS a form to apply for the team, but it’s been over a year since it was posted and I again have no idea if anyone ever actually gets added, or if it’s even still in effect. It’s seemed like the same people for a while (barring those who have left; also, the dom team lost hasn’t been updated for almost a year, and I know for a fact some of these people have since moved flights). Updating things is a real issue apparently.
But I have been thinking about approaching someone on the team and asking if I can start, I don’t know, an art thread, or something, to help raise funds. As for suggesting other things, I don’t know how much suggestions are taken into consideration, seeing as I have seen people even recently complain that they weren’t listened to.
