The tone isn't playful. It's like the fanfics where you know the author hates a character because every story has the same character character homophobic, transphobic, and racist with no basis to make it easier to hate them.

Nah, to me the overall tone of the post was still "playful". TOO playful as the OP felt way too comfortable saying such weird shit on a very public forum.
