DA I would be among the loudest voices shouting for dominance update but literally not all profit pushing flights place even in second or third place and Earth doesn't always displace profit pushing flights, so why "rough, feel bad"?

SA To expand, I meant more like what's the big deal when if you look at dom history, same Arcane have finished their previous profit pushes both higher and lower than Earth, so why is this time so special? Are we that starved for drama?

Most profiting pushing flights do place in second or first though, if there's no conquest to contend with. Therefore, most profit pushing flights, in a week where there are only profit pushing flights, can expect to have a reasonable shot at first or second. Arcane doesn't push very often, and they're extra screwed over by the ratio between them and Earth. I don't really get why you're getting so bothered about someone expressing sympathy for a situation that undeniably sucks a lot.

AYRT Except that the same smr also had commentators saying that some group in Earth was also actively exalting, so your comparison is off: it's not "placing of pushing flight vs non-pushing" but "placing of pushing vs also somewhat pushing". No matter how much I believe in the need to change the dom formula, this belief in "automatic placing" will always be worse than even current situation. And also Arcane placed 6 or 7 times this year, so "woe is Arcane" is also not true.
Another issue: Those Earth players are never not pushing. If you don't have a buy thread, they are exalting. They almost singlehandedly made Earth go into Water vs Earth with the penalty for having dome the previous week.
It's not true pushing. It's just how some of them play.
