I don't know why people have started this, there is a way to still copy and paste. Click on the cell with the user's name it'll appear in the content box up towards the top beneath the green "View Only" box and to the right of the "fx" symbol. You can highlight and copy from there with Ctrl+C.
They added two completely new minigames AND a custom apparel system. They didn't have hunting/farming or custom apparel in beta. While I also agree that some of the fighting and campaign stuff still feels rough, I'm not sure how much labor was going to those three new big features instead of polishing the rest of the game. I also don't know how out-of-whack the new minigames have made the overall game balance.

This is why I won't be buying premium currency. It's too expensive and you can't do much with what you pay for.
To get enough gems on FR for two breed scrolls (WC/Coatl), you'd spend 40 bucks (for two 2150 packages... or 50 for 5500, which leaves you with 1500 gems, enough for at least a secondary gene, or ancient genes.)
On LW, you HAVE to spend 50 dollars to get two breed changes- which folks TEND to do for breeding.

I'm so sick and tired of them. I see a nice dragon, be it G1, oldie, eternal youth, special eyes.... And Conny snipes them and resells them for double, triple the price.
I mean, they sell their "snipped for cheap" perma babies for 300g+150g for special eyes... That's 450g for a baby, the scroll itself is 350g only, I think?

For balancing purposes, it was reduced to 8% due to all NotN materials now being able to be converted to chests all the time. The change in those trades being available at all time will create a not insignificant bump in the amount of chests players can earn. There are also 10 new notn coliseum enemies and the small bump of Arlo being able to award items by mustering.
It’s probably still going to work out that there will be more eggs in circulation this year when compared to last, but we made the small change rather than a large one because we’d rather err on the side of players getting too much!
For those reporting 5%, that is unfortunately the rng at work. I hope you get more lucky drops in the future!

I was kinda absent from fr this year, does anyone what was the highest point the lah for nocturne eggs before they went down again for notn?
I'm no dragon game econanonimst, but wouldn't a reduction in the egg rate potentially be a good thing long-term? People have been complaining about the egg prices being so low this year. If a low egg rate results in less eggs getting stockpiled, I would assume the prices on them would start rising much more as we get further from NOTN - like they usually do. (That's assuming there are actually less eggs, admittedly - Undel said they expect to end with more eggs in circulation than last year even with the rate change, but that's in theory and may not hold true.)
Of course it's a bummer for people that love getting a ton of eggs for later, but if you're in it for profit it feels like it would end up still profitable if egg prices increase more next year.

It's been way too long but I'm pretty sure the general consensus back then was that the old achievements would be grandfathered in or at least displayed somewhere once the system was overhauled? People were setting up trading threads and everything in the Sales forum to help others get the achievements before they poofed.
I have no idea if this is something that the devs said would happen and ended up taking back now or if it was just a community assumption that was very wrong. But if it's the latter then yeah, I and everyone else who worked hard to finish these really just wasted a lot of time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As for the legacy system, they explained that:
"Unfortunately, given how patchy and old the progression data is for legacy achievements, there isn't really a way for us to surface that information to players given how vastly different the underlying achievement architecture is. At some point in the future it's possible that we may be able to pull it out as historical information, but it's not being scoped into this project."
My guess is, they still could do it, it's not a release priority, which it shouldn't be. You might be pissed your elite legacy stuff doesn't carry over. I'd be more so if they delayed the feature more just so folks can have a way to lord over people that missed it.

oh boy another secondary gene that completely ignores the mane on tundras (my favourite breed) and just looks like empty, forgotten garbage. this shit is exactly why I fucking quit because 70% of the genes, the artist just gets lazy and ignores it.
(Compare that to like, Breakup, for example, as a non-gem-gene that actually puts minimal effort in that doesn't need to be continuing the pattern entirely, but still doesn't look shitty and forgotten.)

Are you looking at male tundra poses, by any chance? Because I'm pretty sure the manes are bugged. Females and hatchlings have the iridescence of other breeds, but the males are missing it.
