Anyone know why they were banned yet?

wait, did they get banned AGAIN? or am I thinking of someone else?

I am thinking that it had something to do with trying to trade their beta lorewolf key for FR ks items but idk tbh

False multi-accounting spam reports.
They're appealing the ban.

How do you know it's false? And who is sending the spam reports?

Because I've seen the receipts? This happened after they traded for a KS vista code to complete their collection. They have all the proof needed that they don't multi-account, now it's just a waiting game for the staff to reply.

But the people spam reporting are most likely people that are either
a) jealous
b) genuinely don't think people have the funds for KS items
or
c) insistent every time a KS item/code is traded it must be a multi-accounter

This is especially true since Feet has a G1 imp and a bunch of other KS items (which they got legitimately by trading DV KS stuff at peak price)

Weird how Finder77's false ban was reversed in less than a week but it's been over a month since Feet's ban and nothing but crickets...

All this receipt talk and not one shred of proof posted. Why not?

Staff is notoriously slow at replying sadly, it took me at least a week to get my first reply from them about appealing a ban, and another few after that for them to basically tell me "Nope, shit out of luck."

Heck, I've been waiting for almost an entire year to get a UMA I traded back because I was scammed and still crickets.

Staff doesn't intervene when you've been scammed. That's why you've been waiting so long. How did you even get scammed out of a UMA?

They didn't do any basic market research and had post-sale regrets, probably. Staff isn't going to give a fish about that.

They told me that they were going to look into it. I paid after receiving the initial sketches from someone I was ordering art from and said I'd pay them with the UMA after getting those, we agreed on two full color headshots and they never delivered. I waited for ~3 months or so with zero contact - thinking "maybe something happened, I'll give them another week" (yet they were still active on the forums) - and then tried messaging them multiple times with no answer over the next month only for them to block me and make a "quitting sale" all before contacting support about it.

I provided them with all the info needed and staff said they'd try and get my UMA back (which was ~3kg in value or so) but still nothing RIP

Can you show the receipts?

The receipts are proof that Feet engaged in a trade that abided by the ToS. However, it does not disprove that they were multi-accounting. Feet could both have engaged in a legitimate trade AND been a multi at one point or another. Those two things are not exclusive.

I'm thinking that the high value trades triggered an investigation into Feet's account which (1) showed that the trade was legitimate but also (2) revealed Feet's connection with other multi-accounts.

The supposed "receipts" that Feet has that may not be telling the whole story. They just might be giving screenshots that prove their genuinely innocent acts and not all the actual evidence that FR team sees since they have way more oversight of the site than any of us do. They know something we don't.

FR has nothing to gain from banning a user, especially a high profile one. I am sure they have a damn good reason to ban Feet.

I'd happily provide the receipts, but I didn't save the screenshots. Simple as that, plus I don't feel that I should be sharing PMs and such from other people, but that might just be a me thing. If they want to post it, they can.

I'm not against Feet or anything, if they really were banned wrongfully then damn hope they get their account back, but I just find it really funny how you'll go on and on about these receipts and all of a sudden when we ask for them NOW you're uncomfortable with sharing them. You were perfectly comfortable with talking about them, though... I don't quite get it.

Why even make these claims if you can't even back them up? If Feet, receipts in hand, wanted to back themselves up, just... show them the ARR thread or something. No need to fight for them when you don't even have anything to fight with because it not only makes you look bad but it brings more attention to the user you're defending and may make them look bad too by proxy.

Talking and sharing are two entirely different things, my guy.

I'll talk to them later and see if they want to post the screens, but no promises or anything because they tend to prefer staying out of drama.

You're correct. Talking and sharing are indeed entirely two different things, one of them doesn't really accomplish anything and the other actually clears the air.

I've never heard of people targeting KS item owners so why would only Feet get targeted? That makes no sense
