i mean... wouldn't that theoretically fit a user who joined in the early days of the site after being a kickstarter backer? maybe someone who basically doesn't play anymore/whose account looks abandoned because it *is* functionally abandoned?
i don't make a practice of tracking down g1 imp progens, but iirc there are absolutely some in dead lairs.
Flight rising is a public website... it's kind of anyone's business. G1 imps are especially easy to search for since they're so rare. People like to know when and if someone is willing to sell/breed/stud them.
how the fuck does ANYONE know which users have "significant evidence" of bm selling. like isn't the whole idea to not talk about it.
this has "ok but why were YOU at the devil's sacrament to see goody proctor there" vibes to me not that i literally think you're on the bm, op, but this is not exactly the subject of casual conversation in FRD. what loops am i out of where people actually talk about this stuff?
ive also wondered this. i always assume its private servers or bespoke friend groups where someone eventually either snitches or makes something up due to internal drama. ive never actually seen proof of these things, except for the one or two cases where someone was blisteringly obvious about buying an account (and got quickly banned).
beingofnature can't find this one but its on one of the wanker threads.
also a familiar art style but i forgot who https://i.imgur.com/GyGwYsP.png
the website is very interesting to browse and investigate. lots of subtle connections and coincidences (maybe for example, 3 digit wind flight account, G1 imp, previously active on bm but stopped after their fr account was locked around the time they posted about buying ks items). but only some are concrete enough to pinpoint a user
by "give gifts" do you mean occasionally sending items /both ways/, or is someone funneling large amounts of their items into another account as a "gift". first is fine, second isnt.
Send a message to their contact us. I did this when I got my gf to sign up. They said it's always good to contact them if you're worried about it and they explicitly told me:
1) users CAN add the little "I play on the same ip as this other user" message to their bio but it isn't taken into account when investigating multiaccounting
2) gifts are totally fine. gifts between two active users including items, currency, and dragons are totally fine. giving gifts from site prizes are fine. there isn't a set limit on gifts.
3) things that aren't fine: one user is funneling their items to the other user, especially if one user is otherwise inactive. Example: User A uses their gathering turns and sends it all to user B. User A maxes fairgrounds and sends the treasure to user B. User A breeds dragons and sends them all to user B. This is the advantages they're avoiding (there's a reason we all only have so many gathering turns, open nests, and a treasure cap on fairgrounds, and it leads to an unbalanced game if this rule is not enforced)
man i know FR is probably not large enought to sustain it, but with the upcoming 'grand exchange' and warrior's way moving into there, I can't help but think how this is a great set up for neopets-style plot shops and the like,,, ofc people on fr are allergic to retiring items(:/) but i can dream
I usually do a preorder basis, but I had enough gems to print these, so I sent over a PA. The first seven days expired, so I relisted, and it's been three days.
If it expires a second time, I guess I'll sell to an actual paying customer lol.
