funny, since water merc was pretty busy with all the wind orders they had. and the private order they had, sending to wind. oh, and the private lightning order they had.
did lightning even reach out to water's merc lead? last i'd heard from my buds in water, H said there was radio silence. or was this a decision of rowan deciding that H wasn't talking to him and never actually trying to contact him? or - and this is a radical idea, i know - getting literally anyone other than rowan to talk to H?

good fucking lord rowan. 9 months ago i was in here DEFENDING you before the logs/proof came out because i wanted to believe that members of my own dom team werent doing what people were claiming they were. ive participated in lightning dom alongside you for literal years and thought you were better than this. you could have just let this drama fucking die and let lightning dom move the fuck on but you just had to get the last word in.

My friend told me there's a 'tin-foil hat theory' that you orchestrated this mess with the akirbeak being previewed w/the boarding raffle so that you could shine a spotlight on yourself as being so generous and so much better than Water because look, *you* actually got an extra bird! My first thought was "That's such a dumb idea" but, man, thinking about it and I gotta admit I give it a 5% chance that this actually happened.
If you have the akirbeak on hand you need to put it in THIS raffle or admit that the dom team can't afford it and don't have it yet. Otherwise this is an empty statement.

I honestly don't know if I'll ever go back to lightning as long as he's part of the dom team. Which is a shame, because that's my favorite flight. I left for... a very petty reason awhile ago and a not so petty reason. Both issues have since been resolved, and I've been wanting to return...
...but nah, man. Hard pass. I couldn't even bring myself to support lightning (which HURT because I always have in the past) because of that whole garbage he did during WvE. And then they do the false advertising Akirbeak (which was the only reason I considered boarding for them. Thankfully, I stuck with wind because of the uncomfy feelings from WvE and their absurd amount of dragons for badges made me not want to even bother) Just... lol :(
One day, I'll finally be home. I hope :(

Nonny, I feel you. I left Plague after some of the discord mods were complete asshats, and swore I'd never go back after how I was treated, but after 2+ years of being in different flights (Shadow/Ice), and never feeling "home," I said "Fuck them, fuck it," and went back to Plague.
I don't really do much in the forums, anyway, and I didn't join the discord again, and it's been so nice being back where my clan belongs.
Don't let assholes like Rowan keep you from being where you're happy, because then they win.

To be fair with the Akirbeak part, it definitely was not intended to be false advertising. It was an oversight, a mistake because the Dom team is mostly comprised of new members. Kywren has already addressed it on the Boarding thread.
Though I get you. I don't know how to feel about everything after finding out he has been the one making all of those responses. Some part of me still wanted to believe that he was not a jerk, but urgh. :(

Anyone else not been able to get an ask in to SRM in AGES? Like, I fully get Tumblr eats asks and they filter some stuff but when even 100% positive things don't go through I'm starting to feel like they blocked me somehow, lol.
Am I just tinfoiling here? Do they actually have like, 2 weeks' worth of queued posts somehow?? What gives?

Wow, this is fucking cringe. Rowan is beyond pathetic in my book for this. Didn't he ever learn not to engage with people online if he wants people to forget about things? Why the fuck did he come here himself to be like "muh muh lighting got a second akirbeak!" instead of just letting the second akirbeak speak for itself? I hope no one ever supports your dom pushed again while you're still at the helm. Which is a shame because I quite like lightning.
Holy fuck lmao I was arguing with them and just figured it was a different person, kind of like the last time Rowan came over and there was somebody else defending him, but noooooo, he's moved on to talking about himself in the third person! Amazing!! This is the funniest possible outcome.
