I typically train rather than farm low venues during NotN, but I thought I was an outlier in doing so, since it isn't optimal in terms of event loot rate. Earth isn't doing a public buy and, being Earth, hardly needs to turbo-exalt at a loss to secure their conquest. So the fodder floor being at 9500 is a bit surprising to me. Unless that's one really juicy IF raffle.

Exalting dragons gives you a chance at chests. I haven't exalted enough to figure out what the chest rate is, but either I'm very lucky or it's high. Could very well be worth it to exalt at a loss just to get your hands on more chests. I suspect that's what's going on.

For that matter though, the chest rate from fam bonding seems pretty solid too, and heck knows I've got enough of them awakened that I never bother with.

Also curious what this is going to mean for egg prices, both over the course of NotN and in this coming year. I've already grabbed a ton for much less than I was buying them for last year, so I probably need to slow down, lol. Especially if it'll likely take longer for the floor to hit 300 or so again (I thought this past year was going to be an aberration because of all the Dustcarve eggs, but with so many additional loot opportunities now, this might be the new normal.)

Also, considering how often 'improve individual exalt rewards' gets brought up as an idea to rebalance dom, it would be hilarious if somebody ended up passing Earth here.

I don't think you're that much of an outlier, grinding is really boring and training slightly less so. Plus now the drop rate for chests on exalting seems to be close to 1/2!

I had a great loop going- exalt a dragon, get a chest. Open chest, get an egg. Hatch egg, exalt, get chest- rinse and repeat about six times before I finally didn't get an egg lol.

so that's what is going on! 8000 t for a hatchling had me going :O

We're doing a profit push in Shadow and it has very quickly become unprofitable. This fodder floor is killing me.

This event is often competitive

Sell the chests you get from exalting. Stonks.

Hatchling and adult floor is over 10kt (around 11kt at times) - it's an everyone vs RNG battle
