(Anonymous) 2021-11-24 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)outside of that, it can sometimes be a bit hit or miss with timelines. professional artists with good time-management and dedicated progress tracking apps like trello usually take USD exclusively, given their skills, time commitment, and marketability. the more casual artists on FR sometimes require a bit of poking or checking in to make sure that the work is completed.
in general i recommend only commissioning artists who have offsite contacts or galleries. it lets you get a better feel for their art style and if they stop using FR it gives you a contact for a check-in or refund. ive had a few commissions done by people who left the site after i paid, leaving me with nothing.
