wtf food prices?

Is it just math, or ... no one farming? Why is food so effing pricey? Also, why is 4-point food always the cheapest per unit?

Can't comment on the lack of grinding etc, but 4-point food is the cheapest because you can only sort by unit price rather than price per fp, and most people level in the mire. People set 4 fp per item, check the price, and undercut a bit... forever.

It's not just the Mire, but all the popular leveling places that give 4 point foods. Ghostlight, Harpy's Roost, I think Kelp Beds gives a mix of 4 and 5 points. Nearly everybody who does a lot of coli grinding has extra food in the 4 point category.

food is usually most expensive right before fests, and cheapest right after them. most people dont farm a ton when there isnt an extra incentive, like elemental fest drops or coli food fest drops.

mire and ruins drop 4 point foods, so that's why they are cheapest
