Hi there, everyone! I was browsing the Game Database when I happened upon this absolutely gorgeous skin titled "Queen Glory", created by Vipera. When I looked at it, I was amazed at just how well the colors and design fit together, though something looked a bit too familiar about it. I could have sworn that this was based on the character Queen Glory the Rainwing from the popular book series "Wings of Fire", written by Tui T. Sutherland, and sure enough, it was >see picture below for a picture of Glory<.

Now I know this is a DRAGON site, so it's fitting that a DRAGON skin from a DRAGON book series would be on here, though I am pretty sure that it's not allowed for a skin/accent to be based on a copyrighted character/object? Justifiably nuked. Especially as it had discussion of the two festival skins removed for violations and a player call-out. And was inviting more folks to do the same to others.

It is an older skin that only has like 5 copies in existence that is inspired by the art in question. I think the site has bigger fish to fry.

In comparison to the removed festival accents brought up in thread, the plague of madness skin had a very particular eye marking from the episode, and static cling had a character from the game on the wing, as well as being chosen as site skins.

At best, tattletaling on something harmless. At worst, spite reporting to hurt others.

SweetNSpicyLemon is now locked, but i'm nosy and curious if it's because of the thread or because they asked another user why they blocked their friend lmao

(said friend coincidentally also commented on the queen glory database entry to ask 'how is this allowed'.... 🔎👀)

I'm betting a mix of the two.

Admittedly, if the friend was locked, I'd assume it was a multi ban.

Said friend is BigSisterMoon, and they're not locked, so I'm guessing Lemon was locked for the thread.

Wouldn't be surprised if BigSisterMoon was given a warning, though. Asking someone to ask someone else about why they're blocked is block evasion and is against the rules.

That was the one of the most passive aggressive things I've ever read.
