what is a joxar crate and how do i get one?

In the left-hand menu bar of any Flight Rising page, look for the 'Festive Favors' link (at the bottom of the 'Shop' section).

It will take you to a page with two big icons, 'Elemental Festival Shop' and 'Joxar's Spare Inventory'. Click the second one. (Or just go here: https://www1.flightrising.com/festive-favors/joxar )

Below Joxar's avatar and speech bubble, there's an entry for 'Spare Inventory Crate'. Click the 'Buy' button beside it. It costs 80,000t, which might seem like a lot, but you can make almost that much in a single day on the fairgrounds (feel free to ask for more help on that or any other aspect if needed!).

You can only buy (1) per festival week, so a max of eleven total per year.

It will contain two things:

A) a Prismatic Token you can exchange for any of the Joxar-exclusive items on that same page
B) a random item which may be one of those Joxar exclusives or an item from a previous elemental festival

thank you anon!! are these available every year? is this the first time they've been released? why are they worth 200g if its just old fest items?

1) Yep, the team hasn't announced that the feature will ever stop, so I would think they'll continue to be available during fests for the foreseeable future.

2) They were released starting in 2017, here's the announcement post: https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/ann/2216630

3) Since items from previous fests are semi-retired (you can buy them from other players, and get them randomly from Roundsey or Joxar, but you can no longer exchange elemental currency for an unlimited number of them on-demand, they're sometimes quite valuable in their own right. (Note, items from fests before Joxar was launched are not included, otherwise Crate prices would be much higher.)

You can also only get the Joxar items randomly from Crates or by exchanging Tokens for them. (Tokens can also be brewed in Baldwin during all elemental fests, but the recipe takes a long time and lots of materials.)

If you really want to, you can also make a second prismatic token by Baldwin's. But it takes several days to brew, so best do it at the end of the week and save it for next fest. (It's level 16.)

*you can make two tokens through Baldwin each fest, if you put one to brew on sunday and the other on saturday or so, so it's three tokens max each month.
