Can't search the suggestions forum right now of course, but there's a really interesting one in there about gene 'variants' - like, all dragons with flaunt/flair will still be considered to have flaunt/flair, but there'd be a cheaper-than-scroll option to toggle between variations in gene art/color/whatever. Would be great for everything from this, IriShim, Jup/Sat, etc etc, plus would open the door to making a lot of terts more customizable/flexible, without much art effort in a lot of cases, without stuffing the MP with more scrolls, picking names/themes for entirely new genes, etc etc. I think it'd be great for creative longevity if there were more customization options without staff having to constantly wrack their brains for fresh gene concepts.

Yeah, I have seen that, and supported it and want it so much, because it would be, at least it seems like it would be, a low effort way to bring out new variety in genes, and give players the ability to further make their dragons look 'unique' while still having the same 'gene'.

I think the biggest variant issue would be for iri/shim because it is drawn by hand, so they would have to do all variants by hand.

But, most others would be minor changes, such as colors, which they have a program to do for them, or removing a layer or 'cutting' out a bit of the gene (such as runes' feet)

I *really* really wish they would bring that out...
